What is the best way to make an avatar?

How do you make the pictures that change images? Such as Nekkie's or grouch's.

What are the basic avatar rules?

I think mines the best cuz i animated it myself and its my logo for my film company. YEAH BABY GSE fo life.

I put it in my painting program (appleworks) and scaled it down appropriately and then scaled the document down to 80 x 80 pixels. I've been satisfied with it, haven't changed it in a long time.

DRAGON88, how do you make those? I have a sequence of shots that I want to make into one rotating/switching picture.

I used photoshop to make a picture that was HUGE into a 30 X 30 pixels image which I was going to use for my avatar. Even when I put the quality at 1, the image was 12 kb. What am I doing wrong?

I am not very computer literate when it comes to photoshop and stuff like that. But if you need to use CAD im your man. Laughing

would it be possible to use CAD/CAT to design and create a wakeskate out of plastic? If it had some metal or carbon rods in it, it would be an amazing rail board... just think... a plastic wakeskate. it would also look pretty sweet. hmmm...

skatethewake, just post all the pics you want in your avatar, and I'm sure someone will do it for you. Tell them how you want it, it only takes a few min to do it.
