Nekkie, actually no it's not, the LF one is crap it's too soft, the Hype one is really, really friggin hard, and the concave is shaped like a byerly, honestly the thing rides really good, I know rider owned is the best way to go, but honestly, everything Hype I have tried that is new for 05 has astonished me (note, that I havent tried the Parks Confused , or the Roam yet), and the same with the LF bindings, I really dislike the sphinxes, but aside from that I like all of the other ones

kento911, I know that it probably rides just fine, but using some kind of foam to make the shape of a skate is just blasphemy for me Very Happy

It just doesn't look right ^^

Nekkie, I agree it looks like poop, but I actually like the idea that Hype is trying to make a product that encourages beginners to buy a nicer board to start with at a decent price, in my opinion that in the long run will equal more progression of the sport

They had a Hampson Bi-Level, ungripped in the Lightning booth in one of their board racks. Also, they had that solo jet ski that you can ride behind by yourself...it's kind of wierd.

RUSSIAN, you forgot two pros: Kyle Murphy and Nick Wienacker.

Never saw it or them......
I saw saw the solo, but uhhh I dunno....

Just the cwb. There was't much else except LF and they were really busy when I went buy there.

I laughed at the phriction. It's not even really concave, just has more of a kicktail

yeah i dont get why some people call the phriction a concave. it has raised tip and tail. thats it...other than that its basically a flat. then again the catalyst/byerly isnt exactly much better. the concave is pushed out so far onto the rails of the board that its friggin useless for anyone that has shoes less than size 9 or so...

and yeah, kyle murphy is friggin hilarious...

Yes, we are selling Bi-levels at Boardstop.

We have had problems with some and some have been fine. Cassette has taken care of the few that have had problems.

yeah the pro-flight booth had an ungripped version...i guess so they could put it in their board racks? the problem for them is that the bi-level didnt FIT in any racks except the wakesurf board/knee board/really huge rack/callitwhatyouwant rack.
