I know theirs a few topics on this already but I want to get a motor for a 16 foot allumium boat. It used to have a 35 on it but my dad sold it awhile ago.I want to be able to deep water start and suff without ptting alot of strain on the motor. So what will it take 20hp? |

ben ray, 20 for sure... you can go as low as a 15 but 20 would work better |

i got a 40 on my aliminum. u can pull sum1 froma deep water with 6 or so ppl in teh boat. so anywer from 20-40 depending on if u want ppl in the boat with u. _________________ Please. Do me a favour and don't take anything i say seriously, anything. |

When I first started waking was on a skurfer, the first, about15 years ago we rode behind a 13 foot boat with a 9.9 and that was enough to pull a wakeskater I'd say 4 sure _________________ dbanana wrote:

9.9 not enough 15 is good 20 better but the best is 25 or 30 cause with 30 U can put a little pylons or a tower. and whith a 35 U can add some weight in Ure boat to make better wake _________________
