Anybody else got these? I was putting the boat in and I was like WTF is that a turtle; it was only a 2 footer but still the way it swam with it's head above the water was eerie. It was like looking for something to eat.. fallen wakeskater.

My friend Biggie said he knew of a skier who fell in a kelp patch and was attacked and died from so many bites and so much toxin, and I love riding through the kelp, thats where all the log jumps are.

my dad had a friend who was water skiing in Don Pedro when they first built the lake. A lot of snakes were flooded out of their homes and they would gather on anything floating in the lake. She hit a log that was filled with rattle snakes. After that she got 100+ bites then died. Pretty scary sh*#@!

I didn't believe him; but after this second account I guess I do. Thanks eyeareque. That sucks cause all the fun stuff to jib is snake infested. I guess I just can't fall, cause I know I can't stay off the logs. Especially after Lemons sec in FITB.

bull sharks are the shizzle... They attack more people than the great white Shocked

We got citrus and tiger sharks here, but I haven't seen one yet while riding. Tho I'm sure they are lurking somewhere down there ^^

One kid was bitten while wakeboarding in Raiatea on the leg. But the shark only took a bite and didn't tear anything off. Was a grey shark, we call them Reira. They a frickin nuts!!! When I was diving once I saw one go ape shizzle on a coral... The damn shark was just munching away a huge block of coral Shocked scary....

He's been dubbed "Hitler". He has had 6 documented attacks in the last 4 years, one fatal. An old newspaper clipping at the city pier says he was shot by a commercial fisherman multiple times with a .45 pistol and then calmly swam away Shocked

I HATE SNAKES and they are everywhere in Louisiana. We also have the same stories that someone fell in a nest and died. I'm not 100% sure about this, but I have always heard that other than a sea snake, snakes can't open their mouths under water.

One of my most freakiets snake encounters (other then when one falls out of a tree into the boat) is when a cotton mouth stood up on the water and struck at the boat. I saw this with my own eyes, so I know it is true.

Seeing snakes and gators while riding in Louisiana is very common.

I think that is false....How do water snakes eat fish if they can't open their mouths?

What about big Catfish?? There are some near the dams around here that are the size of the tailgate of a pickup!!

theres supposed to be 6-7ft catfish in my lake. some divers went down there to check on a the newly built dam. they came up 15min later than expected. before coming up workers noticed many air bubbles rising to surface quickly.

the two divers came up with shocked faces. thet said their were catfish bigger than them and that they would for any reason NEVER EVER GET BACK IN THAT WATER AGAIN.

there have been "sightings" around the dam and crap of things suppossed to be these fish too so who knows. im just rammbling now so THE END
