I really think there should have been an age limit. I really don't want a 15 year old moderating posts.

and now morphine.... i agree with you vance i think there should be an age criteria just becuase of the maturity level of most 15 year olds...oh well we will see if they are mature enough, and if they arent it will be obvious

It is too bad that some of you feel the way you do about the new moderators. I personally do not think that it will change anything, other than me not having to spend so much time going through messages.

I had to make some tough decisions and it is possible that I could have chose the wrong people for the job, only time will tell. But I would think that you guys would have enough faith in me and that I would not let a moderator go crazy and take control of the message boards. And I am also confident that the people I did chose know what is expected of them by the community and not of me.

I wanted to have a mix of older and younger moderators because of the various ages of the user base. Some of the older moderators don't want to spend time in the Non-wake forum and I don't blame them.

I would rather a moderator not even get noticed as being a moderator, but as just another member of the community. I know it doesn't help having the "moderator" rank, but there isn't much I can do about that.

If anyone has a problem with a moderator or another member, you should come directly to me.

And being on the mod squad isn't about posting. It's about having a greater sense of right and wrong, protecting the innocent and destroying the guilty (no second chances), and it's about looking good while performing these aforementioned duties.

Oh, and YOU'RE WELCOME!!! (that's kind of a joke from "nick burns: your company's computer guy.)

seriously though, just because a MOD doesn't post, it doesn't mean that they're not lurking. ya hurd??
