This message does not apply to all...
Some of you really just need to grow up. And I mean that in the most positive and courteous way possible. Many of you simply lack the social experience and linguistics skills to be able to communicate an appropriate comment/criticism. In this situation, the guy doesn’t need to be given the tuff love routine…or for you to blow sunshine up his ass. And he especially doesn’t deserve to have his work patronized and ridiculed. Just give him the respect and decency that you know he would give you. Think about his feelings as an artist before you make some knee-jerk comment that might have a profound ramification. (Such as making the individual feel it is necessary to leave the forum) I’m not saying that you shouldn’t make constructive criticisms…I’m just saying that if you plan on making a comment that you know is negative…you should structure your comments to convey your thoughts in an appropriate and empathetic way…as to not have a situation such as this arise. At least have that much respect.
This whole situation is really a shame…have any of you considered apologizing for voicing your comments in a rude and undignified manor?
on a seperate note....
Quote: | As a marketer, you can't make everyone happy, and you certainly can't blow up on them b/c they don't like your product. |
Kento911, he is not a “marketer”…he is (was) a peer…at least on this site anyways. Why do you choose now to treat him as a marketer? That just struck me as an odd comment. He never treated anyone on this site like “customers”…he treated everyone as equals. |

He IS a marketer, but he's also a peer. I think Kento was just making a point. |

well i never met anyone good that wouldn't buy a board because of the graphic. truth is no one knows how good of a board it is by looking at the pic on the bottom. i dont care if it had ryan screwwing a bunch of rabits with a big unicorn in the background, if its a good skate thats going to last a while i'll buy it and so should you. |

First off, great job guys at revolutionizing the sport as a whole. New designs such as this only HELP the wakeskating community. I feel this is as much of a break through as the Bi-Level, I am always banging the crap out of a board and having to purchase a new one due to poorly designed skates. I love the design but yes the picture is a little odd. I personally would like it more if it had his name or something going parrelel with the flag, that would be sweet.
SECOND...this site has changed alot since I last visited. Now there are a bunch of punks spitting off remarks as they sit in their computer class in the 9th grade. If you are not going to support somebody who is putting in a lot of time to make a better product for YOU, then please dont resopnd at all. Constructive criticism is one thing, but hassling should not be tolerated.
And to all people helping with this board, please do not leave due to this one incident. Please take this professionally, and if the only reason you come back to post is to market your board for more money, then do so. There are many people like me who are looking for a new board and having a semi-personal relationship with the designers will definately sway which board I will purchase. Thanks, take it easy _________________ For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, and sometimes a scar.

thanksMorphine, thats pretty much it Matt_French, don't read too deep into it, regardless of him being our peer, the number of costumers on this site DOES make Erich a marketer of a product _________________ why dont you try playing hide and go Fvck yourself |

Schmaltz,
You'll be glad to know I support your company. And when someone asks me what integrity wakeskates are, (because i walk around all the time wearing my integ shirt), that i glady spread the word about your company. |

Schmaltz, Im glad you came back and posted one more time (hopefully not the last) but you have to remember there are alot of people on here that have full respect for you and your company, like Ive told you myself that I totally respect what your doing and like Leif said that you if anyone can be trusted to give you a straight up answer it is you... also you have to remember there are some kids who like to come on the site and start shananagins for no reason but to get a kick outa everyone... but it was your own rider who commented that Integrity doesn't make bulljive product like cassette and LF, but obviously there are more comments from other people... and I think its great that you, duane and thomas are trying to give the KENT owned companys a run for there money...
my 2 cents on this issue |

Very nice schmaltz, that's what i was going for in my above paragraph but yours came out better lol. Trust me nobody doubts what you do for us "true" skaters.
And by the way...the way you handled that, plus the superior quality product you offer has just sold me on which board I will be riding this year.
Nice job, and you'll be getting my order for a board before March. Keep up the good work. _________________ For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, and sometimes a scar.

headhunter, I could be wrong but I feel like the color scheme might actually be inspired by the poem: "Examine these limbs, red, black, or white"...
and this might be extrapolating a bit too far, but perhaps the clear "white" and the fibers might represent the fibers of a muscle or tendon...
again, that might be going a bit far, but whatever.. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com*
