we went out this past friday and saturday. same lake, 50 degrees both times.

see www.lksamm.com

i had on my 4-3 winter full suit and was still shaking an hour later. one pass accross the lake and back is killer.

another kid who went with us trunked it on a wakeboard. he is pretty much insane. he was done after about 300 feet, which was where he took his first and last fall. as he came out of the water, he was screaming. hahahahahaa.

that is probably the coldest ever, except for maybe last year on new years day when there was snow on the ground next to the lake. i dont know if the lake was actualy colder then, but the air was about 35.

i went out in 38 deg air and 44 deg water in the delta. had a dry suit with about three layers under it. My hands got so numb that I only rode for about 15 minutes. I couldnt hold on! when we go out again I'm going to have better gloves for sure.

none of that seems very cold, i mean we skated when the ice began melting last year. and this year we were riding like 40 degree air and the same temp water since it had been colder the week befor, in just a riding shirt

I rode today, 2/3 , 5mm gloves and 7mm boots, no shoes no hood. It got up to 60 here in Maryland, ridiculous day. It was so nice, just like summer an hour gone by and i won't get out. My bud driving the boat is colder than I am.

December down, Janruary in the bag, look out cupid cause the raven's coming to claim year round Sczechuan chicken.
