Same reason snowboards have side walls... it protects the core and adds to the structural integrity of the board... the urethane sidewalls will bounce off hard objects (absorbing impacts) instead of creating a break in the part line which would lead to a delam or break... Building a deck this way means there will be a very-very low possibility of the deck ever breaking or even delaminating plus it's re-shapeable.
I'm surprised so many riders out there actually think it's ok for companies to sell you decks that break and delaminate especially within weeks of buying it ... Why would you spend hard earned cash on a product that is not well thought out and inconveniences you and the dealer as you chase down a refund or wait for it to be replaced. I'd rather just build a solid long living deck so we don't have to deal with the returns and we stoke out all our supporters who know we have the riders best interests at heart....
but then again that's how big business works... and then again were not big business... |

I was going to quote my earlier post, but Ill just say...
Mr.Schmaltz, Mr. Lemons: perhaps one of you could find time to inform all of us what size you feel the production model will most likely be _________________ why dont you try playing hide and go Fvck yourself |

41...
and its not my picture when you see the board you'll see its this shaded sketch and its me stabbing a flag into the world, saying that this is who we are and that we are here to stay. plus this type of grafic has never been done. we are again thinking for ourselfs and making a F-CKING differance. we arnt asking for your aproval in the grafics and what you like and dont like, WE LIKE IT AND THATS HOW ITS GOING TO BE. _________________ <3 mmmm |

rukusrider103, i like your idea on the graphic, but id assume shmaltz would be up for some opinion on the graphic as far as design goes...most designers appreciate some constructive criticism _________________ JMU |

dude ryan in all respect..its wat the consumer wants...not just wat u want, its a mix of both, u shape wat we buy and we choose wat we buy. it works both ways, if we dont like it we dont buy it u loose, we like and buy u win. but i like the graphic but i thinks it wierd seeing u on a board when im used to seeing on my couch lol |

i'm not saying it won't be good it probably will but there's something i don't understand. schmaltz puts the picture up and says that this is a mock up of the new graphic but the actual shape of the board will be different, then Ryan Lemons says how the graphic will actually be a bit different than the picture- cool they are explaining themselves. then you a bunch of you guys come on and say that based on this information you want to buy one? do any of you ever think before you type or do you only want the guys from Integrity to be your friends.
like i said this is not an anti Integrity post it just amazes me, a bit like when the guy posted about his bi level breaking with no photo or anything to back it up and then a couple of posts later some kid said "oh right if yours broke then i'm not buying one" ! unbelievable |
