It rides like crap, basically. Do you like your lib? I actually haven't heard many good things about those. Thus far, people seem to prefer the traditional feel of a stock wooden deck.

Pirate, I'd expect nothing less from you (or more, for that matter)...I have no clue why you're all about choosing sides. All joking aside, let people ride what they want to ride.

I have the first 3-d cassette (2002) that came out and its still going strong. All I've done is reseal the edges and fin holes a couple times a year. I'll probably get an integrity if this thing ever dies.

Hey Schmaltz do those come with velcro shoes?

As for skateboards it depends who much and where you ride, street skating and doing gaps and stairs will shorten the life of a deck a lot more than ramp skating.

electricsnow, i'm on the lake more than i am on my skateboard. after i graduated and moved to dallas i really don't have anyone to skate with. as far as the lib tech goes i like it just fine. except i wish i would have bought a wider one.

personally, I go thru a wood skate every 6 months of less, i hate to compare wakeskating to skateboarding but if you really ride and hit rails the board isn't gonna last too long, you can't let keeping your board in good condition hold your riding back, eventually companies will have to either make cheaper boards(ex k-39) or make them a lot more durable (ex-integrity). i love cassette but this is something that they'll have to work on or else their business is gonna go to these companies

Maybe NUMB is a 400lb person who breaks a deck when standing on it, or jumps onto his board from 10 ft up. everything 2-3 weeks? take care of your stuff because you're the only person i know who has to get a new deck every 2-3 weeks. thats not very cost efficient either.

During the summer I usually break a deck every month. It actually isn't that irregular to do. If you just sitting on the street practising flip tricks of course your not breaking decks. This summer I think i had 4 broken (short canadian summers...)

PIRATE, where do i start with you. nevermind i wont. but low's personal pref. of riding a cassette is one i can stand by. Some people just like the traditional feel of a wood wake skate overlooking the fact that they are less durable than your coveted INTEG. you like yers cause it's indestructable(great purchase point), low likes his cause by the time he's destroyed his cassette they've introduced a new shape or concept(genious marketing strategy) those lib tech skateboards(almost bomb proof) never really took off, it's always been wood cause the masses just dug them. and i like what he buys cause i get his left overs. so stop trying to coherse him for god sake. L.O.W., he is an ass kisser isn't he?

ps i did kinda dig that last session on yer integ though.

dude the price is still an issue...Granted i dont mind buying a 300 dollar deck but knowing the technology which goes into wakeboards that cost the same amount makes me wonder why wakeskates are so expencive...and i know the need creates the price because the comps need to make a profit... but still all the wakeskaters and wakeboarder i know Have no need to buy another for a while..in fact all the people i know have a wakeskate..I think the market is saturated already and thats why cassette and Intergrity hyperlite and butter all have gimmic boards and spend to much on advertisements to create hype

I agree with Russian when has Integrity dropped all this money on advertising?
And please look up the word gimmick what Integrity did was build a loyal base by putting out the best wakeskate on the market design and production wise the rest is personal preference. I represent both Cassette and Integrity because they are putting different products at the top the market one is wood and one is pressed so i cover both sides of the plate. If you don't work in the industry don't try to speak on price issues the market is set by design and need and both of these boards have their place if you want a cheaper board they are out there but you will by two or three in one season so why not by one now and don't have any worries.
The industry will support what it can companies come go I have seen it in skateboarding and I saw it in the early stages of snowboarding and now in the wake industry. It is all one big circle and we are following those who have come before us.
ITCH
E-snow I have had both a lib and I currently ride a Vallaly(SP?) I always seem to end up on a pure wood. And I do know someone who goes through 2 or 3 libs a year, my buddy who owns a skate shop. I really didn't notice a difference I still snapped my tricks around the lil that I can do. I use my lib on my tramp for trainning.

The words Integrity and gimmick don't belong in the same sentence, same with cassette Confused
