hey what do you guys (and by you guys im mean if its cool w/ dave) think about a wakeskating.com vid, like a video of all of us there would be something like you gotta have so many post or what screw that anyone can be in it. anyone wanna volunteer to edit it and dave do you think that would be ok?

I'm assuming you mean a video of everyone riding?

I think it would be cool to have a video of everyone from Wakeskating.com. But I would have to know more about the video before adding Wakeskaitng.com branding to it.

Would be a video of many different riders, so many different styles and levels.

In a normal vid you would only be seeing pro skaters, whereas a global *wakeskating.com* video would really show the wakeskating scene as a whole. With riders from all over the world and with different ridng levels.

When you watch a vid it's cool to be able to relate in a closer way to the guy ridin'.

I dunno, but it sounds like a fun project anyway.

Tough part would be actually making the video...

Best scenario would be one person gets the raw footage from everyone in the highest possible quality and then edits it all in one big video ^^

I only have old footage from two years ago. I was thinkin about just spending a week down in FL sometime this winter.

It is a very good idea. I think we would need one person to edit it because there are so many styles of editing. We would also need someone that is good at after fx.

Keep me posted on this tho. Good idea.

If Dave has enough Server space, why don't people upload their footage via FTP. Dave can program Final Cut Pro into the wsing.com UI, and people can edit parts in real time......sweet!!!!!

Never just one person editing. Riders need to have input as to their parts.

I would be up for doing the editing, but it would all have to be on miniDV to make it worth while... using clips that have been compressed and edited already wont cut it.

Ohh yeah... and i do have a final cut pro settup on a dual 1.8 g5 with a grip of ram ohh and cant forget the dual 20in cinema displays =)

You cant have multiple people doing the editing, most people dont have the option of using final cut, or even imovie for that matter. And we all know premier and Windows movie maker sucks my bean bag.

The best way to do it is let one person do the editing with the imput from all of the riders on what they want to showcase... and dont make each person have a part, mix it up... this is more of a community video than trying to showcase each person.. but thats just my idea.

I do love this idea and would love to have a part in making it possible. I think this should not be just wakeskating but more fun/lifestyle oriented. This can also be a good way to expose wakeskating for what we think it should be... and not what a wakeboarder thinks of it.
