greg, a flats boat is a boat designed for flats fishing, flats fishing is done in extrememly shallow water, like over in the 10,000 islands(west coast of florida) or down in the back country of they keys, the hull is pretty flat and designed to draft a minimum amount of water, for example satori's dad has a 19 foot action craft and it only drafts about 8 inches of water, all you guys are right they throw a nice wake, just make sure to get a big livewell, its like a built in ballast on a fishing boat

so how much does one of these flat boats run.

and if the dont draft much water, does that mean there is basically no wake?

also, how small do they come?
