Clint Thompkins,

He is one of the nicest people i have ever met and he was doing so good at the Mills Pond contest in FL and he wasn't about saying all the trix he did and all, for exaple he goes for f/s bigspin inside out gets like 2 feet high sticks it but then falls and he said he wasn't even riding good. Plus he so nice and aswered my billion questions at the contest, definitly the coolest pro ive met

No. Thomas started cassette, and then had a distribution deal through LF, lf claims to have helped with the concave design, But who really knows.

As far as respect goes, Erich is the illest mofo you could ever meet(just keep him away from fire exstinguishers Twisted Evil ). The wake industry has beaten him down more than once and he keeps coming back stronger. I don't think many people would almost kill themselves to start something new, spend months waiting, and when they finally get the first sample of the new deck, let someone else ride it first.
I don't think he could have picked a better name for the company.

I have alot of respect for Thomas also. His vision sparked a revolution

Thomas was operating Cassette while he and chase lived together. I have the 32 board ever made never been riden. Thomas struggled for months and when Neptune went under chase started riding for LF thomas rode and tested some boards for LF he was a team player, but not officially on the team. While he was helping out Lf offereded to put out the distibution. Thats all they EVER did for Cassette. Thomas has put his time in listened and learned, he might have pissed some people off but for the most part he has always conducted himself with a great deal of perfessionalizm.
ERICH is the man flat out the single guy in the industry that does this because he would go crazy if he didnt this guy has been shizzle on by companys been in a critical car accident and then shizzle on again but partners only to come back and be shizzle on again, then finally after knowing what he had in his head would make a difference comes back the right way and proves all the money hungry suit and tie guys are just dickheads. I met Erich back in 90 or 91 and to this day he is the most genuine, honest guy I have met. What a lot of you don't understand is that 90% of the industry are backstaqbbing money hungry idea stealing whores.
Now I respect a lot of the riders I have met from the kid in ohio that lost a leg and still manages to get out on the water more than me to the two I just talked about.

thomas is by far one of the nicest, most respectable, proffessional people i've met. I've had numerous conversations with him and he is very knowledgeable about what he is doing with is riding and his company. He is responsible bussinesman getting what has to be done, yet he excels with his riding and board deisgns, and to top it all off hes humble about every asspect of him

too many people wakeskate there... in FL it seems to me that everyone is trying to be the best and everyone takes it too serous... in louisiana nobody cares about the politics and noone tries to take anyones tricks.... id much rather be laying low having fun with my boys then be on the cover of some mag. i mean that would be wonderfull a dream come true, but in louisiana people arnt all for themselfs, for example... me and someone go film for someones video mag, i stick a new hot trick.... later on that day someone who lands backside flips sees my new hot trick and goes out and trys them over and over.... it really gets to me... orlando is awesome... but id rather lay low down here and ride for myself, and ride for the true reason i ride. because i love it. im just gunna sit back and film all next year and hopefully come out with an award winning video part.

on another note, theres no way id ever test any of integritys new products in FL.....
why? because people cant think for themselfs.

i respect ryan lemons.

I respect all the big ones, and ditto on Lief E-snow he's definately down, Iv'e talked to him twice about the winch, I dont think he connects the two times, but both times hes was just as stoked on it as I was (thats really hard BTW)

But Im sorry I have to back my man Ryan Lemons, If you wanna know why look for my post after he said why he was leaving fla.(I cant find it), but basically I have know many talentted athletes, and sucess changes them all, but the ones that really try to stay the same are the ones that are truest to their sport, and their friends, and just people in general.

-=AlexXx=-, i didnt see that post and still dont but, i will be the first to say that here in orlando not everyone is out to be the best, it is a different atmospere from the bayou thats all. im not saying anything against my boy lemons, he is a great kid with mad steez. but i will say that i know the facts behind wat he was saying, i garuntee u dont! of course orlando is different from La and there are tons of pros here. i see byerly driving around alot, who else sees tha in any other town? i can walk to his house. i have pulled up to his house with lemons and talked to reed and him and matt malloy about alotta shat, that doesnt happen anywere else. but that is given, but i think ryan isnt used to people watching him and being able to do the same stuff. totally nothing against ryan but come on, La doesnt have the riders that we do. i just know that ryan isnt used to it, thats all. orlando has horrel, reed, byerly, drew, daniels and many others, wat would any would expect? to come here and top them all? no way never gna happen! and i really wanna make it clear, i have nothing against lemons. i respect the kid and talk to him alot, but like i said b4 he has a lil growing up to do, thats all

Very rarely do I actually make posts and/or comments on this site, but I am a regular user and observer of what goes on here. But that post that was posted by alexx, as written by rukusrider, is somewhat a dissappointment. Man, wakeskating is so young, and new, that when you develop a new trick, it is definitely going to get, as you say, "ripped off". Dude you should be flattered that your trick gets ripped off, but as with other riders, it is about them stealing your trick. Man either get a life or open your eyes, this sport is so young a kickflip is the hottest trick....seriously, think about that for a second. Look at skateboarding, about 20 million kids skate, gues how many can kickflip, you get my point. If you were skating and moved to Los Angeles, and skated with the pros, (like orlando) you would get your tricks ripped all the time, your creativity is being copied by someone else is another form of flattery, but I guess that your too young (or bitter)to appreciate that. Your so called hardflip was being worked on months before you actually landed one so does that make you a thief because you landed it?, I absolutely think not! That is the thing, I know orlando is FULL of people that want to be either a pro wakeboarder or wakeskater, it is disgusting, I see it almost everyday, and hear about it almost every hour, Probably 1 percent of these kids actually could make it, and about 99 percent of them are haters and do not appreciate what they have. It is all about respect, (like the topic of this thread, you give it and you will get it back). I read some of these topics and read what people have to say, to see what other people outside of orlando have to say, but it makes me shake my head and laugh as to reasons why kids want to move here so bad. And then when they get here it is a real eye opener, especially when almost all the riders (pros and am's) here can actually do all the same tricks that you have, a little shocking, but it happens. I wanted to write a little response, because, I am a little disgusted at the way things are looked at in this sport, I started because it is fun, it still is, and always will be, and I see kids day in and out talk about how they have to land this trick or that trick, because the tour is 8 months away, are you serious, sit back and analyze what is important to you, if it was me, it would be appreciation for what I have, a beautiful day on a waterway, enjoying a life and sport.

Poopy pants is down...he's smart, care's a lot about wakeskating, and he knows what he's talking about. He's worked hard to get to this point, so it's cool a few of you (evan, kento) can see it.

And I'm an idiot...a veritable idiot, you might say. I have to add jason messer to this list of "respect", for getting things going right from the start. Even though the designs are dated, he got wakeskating on the right foot by being rider own and truly rider driven--the direction I'd like to see wakeskating continue on into.

So tonight, when you're having a glass of milk with your mom and dad, give a toast to jason messer...and maybe add some chocolate to that milk, since it'd be a special occasion...

I was talking to him about that yesterday... he is definetly the coolest and most straight up dude ive meet... he is totally about wakeskating and having fun!!!

INDEFINITE, Im glad that you came on here and posted that... I thought that It was kinda weird when lemons said that he hates it when people try tricks he can do... I talked to him last night about it.... and he told me I had to be original to understand... but its obviously not his trick and others obvously have been trying it before him... yes he landed it but what can you expect when others are going to try it... uh excuse me thats my trick I dont want you doing it? like thats just stupid... I would just be stoked saying im the first to land it.... if mr. backsideflip landes it then who cares... you where the first

im not trying to express the way ryan lemons feels or whatever, cause only he knows. but this is the way i took it:

it wasnt that someone else was trying his trick, more that, he landed it, and instead of the other person being stoked (gross stoked, cringe) that he landed it, the guy saw it more as, damn i need to be able to land that trick now. he cared more about adding it to his bag of tricks than being happy for ryan. So he went out and immediatly started trying it, in order to be better than him or something.

sorry if im wrong.
