Hello Wakeskating.com internet dwellers! We are BLOODSTREAM and we are here for you, the rider. We want to make your ride as comfortable and as fun as it should be!
Bloodstream started a few years ago as a personal project for our friends. We realized how much more enjoyable wakeskating can be by making our feet more comfortable. Let's face it, wearing shoes without socks is not very comfortable. We don't go about our daily lives without socks, so why should we go without socks when wakeskating? This is how bloodstream was born.
As we continued to improve our design and refine the production process, more and more people jumped on the bandwagon. We found that those who tried the socks soon came to regard them as necessary pieces of wakeskate equipment. Our team riders can be found wearing their socks while winching the rivers and ponds, taking hot laps at the cable park, or even out in the middle of the lake behind their favorite floating motor. We've received rider testimonials such as "best thing since lockin fins", and "I won't ride without them". We believe that once you try them, you won't want to ride without them, either.

I would catch Keaton sporting these at the local cable and kind of waved them off, then wakemitch picked up a pair and I got to see them up close and ask him about them. Once Mitch had ridden in them a few times he told me they were a must have.
Got ahold of Garret Fleming/ Lief Erika and a few days later I had a set of my own. I was a little hesitant with the fit since I'm a size 13 shoe. They convinced me to go with the large and wow, these things are great. The fit is spot on, the construction is top notch and they work.
They also have some cool shirts and the obligatory can coozie. Great company making a great product.
Thanks Bloodstream!

Amazing, I'm def. down for a few pair. People have made fun but i've been wearing stormsocks for a decade or more. For comfort and and for warmth.
Do you guys have any plans to make them in a taller version?

| I'm a huge fan of my bloodstream socks. They make cable riding and winching so much more comfortable because rocks and sand arent grinding away at my feet. At 1mm they arent thick enough to get my feet hot in the middle of summer which is nice.

dirtyohioriver22, we understand there are cheaper options out there. Without seeing what you're referring to, we can't speak to the quality, fit, or functionality of other products.
What we can tell you is that our socks are made in the USA, by wakeskaters, for wakeskaters, with the specific intention of being used for wakeskating. We use high quality materials, and we stand behind our work. We also support a team of riders and actively participate in trying to make wakeskating better for everyone. If you want to wear kayak stuff and support a kayak company, that is certainly your choice. We at Bloodstream try to offer support to the wakeskating community and we hope that support would come full circle when possible.
With all that said, we certainly don't expect anyone to feel obligated to buy our stuff.
Cheers. Ride comfortable...
