I've never heard of either of those companies haha. If I was buying a new board I'd probably get a Remote, Watermonsters, Southern or a Virtue. All solid wood boards Wink

Distortion makes winches and i haven't seen a ton from ctrl. They're better known for wakeboards...i think they sponsor ryan doyle, and they might have a bi level or something. Not a super impactful brand on the wakeskate side of things.

But they sponsor phil soven!

yea GNARLY I just got into the watersport and I've been reading as much as I can do find a decent board. I've made mydecision tho i'm pretty sure that i'm going to to with a remote board, I've heard so many good things about them and WM.
yo GNARLY I just saw your video man you skate sick son!! you make me wanna pick up a board again and get on the street. when I was growing up my homies would clown me for skating cause i'm a brotha, but I always said F**K em, but I haven't skated in about 5years I think imam pickup a board for the street to just to get back into the swing of things.

Yo shred Austin thanks man, you sound like everyone else who has a remote board, in love with the brand. what kind of boards do you guys ride on the street?? Well I appreciate you guys letting me know whats up, like I said before i'm new to this sport and i'm in love with it man. I haven't gotten a chance to get on the water yet but watching yall gets me HYPED. I know you remember watchin those skate videos with ya boys and like "hell yea" lets go skate son!! Thanks again tho fellas maybe if yall on the east side close to lake gaston we can meet up or something

Woah, haven't heard the distortion name in a LONG time. Didn't know they were still making decks. I had one of their relatively early bi-levels. Got it at surf expo from the dude who made the company. He was super stoked on skating and a really cool guy. The board eventually broke (as all bi-levels did at the time) but it was decent up until that point; i even think I had a pre-production model so I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did.

Peoples703, I don't know what swerve means, but I'm glad you're stoked on wakeskating!

If I'm ever passing by Lake Gaston again, I'll hit you up Cool
