What is your criteria? Boards we've ridden, or boards that make us feign but our feet have yet to rest atop them? _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

I think the 4trak was one of the most influential skates ever. Never got to ride one myself but it's at the top of my list.
My personal favorites of all time were my '03 Cassette McCuckin and my Oak Gege. Sure, they're both great decks in their own right, but the memories I have while standing on top of them are what stands out most.
The Cassette was what really got me back in to the sport (I had an '01 yellow Cassette earlier but never got super in to it until I rode a concave deck). Between that board and the Gege, I had so many firsts. First shuv, first kickflip, first contests, first time behind a winch. Also because of those decks, I got to meet some awesome people and get involved in the wakeskate community. Can't really ask for more than that! [/b] |

2007 Sattelyte Success
I think it mostly had to do with 2007 being the most fun year of wakeskating ever for me, but also I learned a ton on that board, got a lot of cool pictures, and the shape was just so fun. It was my first board under 41" and now I'm hooked on smaller boards.
I beat that board up so much, but it is still rideable to this day.
I prefer the ride of the new Remotes today, but when I think "favorite skate" I can't not think about that Sattelyte. |

Remote Silas Roadkill, I won't even ride my Integrity skates anymore. They are potato chips compared to The Beav. |

my fortenberry treats me quite nice. my favorite part about it is the durability. i have gone from breaking on average at least 1 skate a summer for a couple years now but now since last summer ive been riding the fortenberry and you can barely tell its been used. |
