apparently matt staker uploaded this onto vimeo two years ago, but was discovered only now (not by me). We've talked about thomas's kickflip, and coupled with his section from decline, it's probably the most boat (specifically wake to wake) riding you'll ever see in a horrell wakeskate section.

Edit: it looks like the kf is not in this edit--but it's still worth a look!

So go on, watch the whole video. This was my favorite video for a long time...just a really fun vibe to a video.

electricsnow, you must have just skipped to Thomas's part in the video, the kickflip was definitely in there in the first minute. Cool find, I had never seen that video

Thomas' few wakeskate clips were way ahead of his time. The style w2w was unbelievable. Respects to the man with a vision

holy shizzle, I was at one of those blink 182/unwritten law concerts that they premiered the video at back in '98.

If I remember right the kickflip is in the opening and closing credits but not in the wakeskating part.

It's funny because that music is so not my taste nowadays, but i see that vid and that music all takes me back and i loved it! Plus that was just an awesome time...chase and staker as a dynamic wake duo, randy and scott both riding for wake tech, and thomas' transition feom wakeboarding to wakeskating and mutiny. It's actually crazy when you think about thomas saying he wakeboarded for a living, and that section just totally sold wakeskating. I think it's really cool--and but one clip of thomas riding a mutiny wakeboard made it into that edit also.

88skisupreme, i can't remember the opening, but it's for sure in the closing credits. You can tell staker posted a promo version of that vid, but i had assumed before i posted that the whole thing was done. He had other awesome stuff, like trying to bomb drop off of that boat house repeatedly, but yet, unsuccessfully.

I remember going to see Blink 182, Unwritten Law, and the band formerly known as River Fenix at the House of Blues in Orlando. In between music they premiered this video and I was completely starstruck when Thomas, Matt, and Chase walked out on stage. I met Thomas for the first time at a contest in Orlando shortly thereafter. I asked him what the deal was with the guy blowing lightning bolts from his eyes. He quickly informed me that the "guy" was Sarah Cline, his girlfriend. Luckily he didn't remember this encounter 2 or 3 years later when I was trying to get on Cassette. Memories.....

Hahaha, that's actually a pretty excellent story, and i think the sarah cline part is what really makes it.
