All I've ever done is ride alone, minus the times I rode with labellethrasher and gregeo. I'm a total nerd--my parents still pull me up north behind the boat. But now I have that 2.0 as a one day weekend option.

Come to columbus man. Got some spots here. I'm pretty much on my own wakeskating, my girlfriend will wakeboard a bit.

I guess I should say we aren't lacking a scene here in Dallas, I just mean the majority of my riding is done while hanging out with all my best friends who happen to all strap.

We definitely have some shredders Smash

try having a kid and and watch your wakeskating life go to almost zero!! although, in a few years i'm hoping he'll be old enough to count as my spotter.

People still wakeskate? I thought only the pros had to do that sh*t still for financial reasons.

we get as many as 8 people at a time trying to winch our rails on the weekends. We run two winches at a time just to get everybody a turn. Best part is, we are all friends now, because of wakeskating together. I had no one to ride with until I ran into that crew at that spot. Find out who rides local, and get in where you fit in...

jcoffey, that's the same with me. There's only a good handful of solid, dedicated skaters in cincy

(but the pasturas make up for everyone who doesn't skate haha)

There's always people down to ride here, I pretty much only ride winch though.

Yeah im glad to say to say there is a pretty solid number of homies to ride with in the Dallas Fort Worth area. One thing for certain tho is that you to really get good you have to have a partner that you ride with all the time so you can push each other to get better.

Lately I have been traveling alot to the Austin and San Antonio area for work and have established good enough friendships with peeps down that way to be able to ride with when im there.

I guess you could say the Texas wakeskate scene has been good to me and im stoked to be a part of it.

One thing I have noticed tho is that to keep this thing going we definitely all have to keep pushing it, whether its trying to meet new people to ride with or letting some wakeboarding noob at the cable take some laps on your skate because he is tired of strapping and wants to try something different.
