Anyone ride on the chain of lakes here? Yes, its the lake Cypress Gardens/ now Legoland is on. I'm moving lakefront their soon and plan on making a rail or two, pretty stoked. And on that note can I get away with a non floating rail on that lake? its a public lake so idk, was just going to put it right off of my dock.

I ride on the chain occasionally while visiting friends in Winter Haven, usually launch at Lake Summit or Lake Roy. Not sure about your rail question but years ago a friend of mine had to go through a lot of red tape to put a ski ramp on Lake Summit.

How are the conditions on the chain of lakes now? Any problems with hydrilla or surface weeds? My jet pump got clogged with weeds last time and I haven't been back since.

lakeskater, On elouise weeds aren't a problem at all, all the canals are pretty clear of weeds too. Is his ramp still of lake summit?

No, it was removed long ago. The Cypress Gardens Ski Show Team used to use it for practice. That was the year I graduated from Winter Haven High School back in 1973.
