We simply couldn't afford to have that many people filming the event. Maybe next year but for this year we chose to have FULL coverage in high quality as opposed to crappy live webcast footage with tons of downtime and having someone sit there 3 days in a row monitoring the site. (That's 2-3 extra people on the payroll.)
If our crew focused on live crap, there wouldn't be quality recap footage. The wakeboard magazines show up for 2 hours a day and shoot the last 2 heats, so all of those guys that didn't make the semi's or finals get no love. (And we love those dudes, they shred.)
Everyone out there was ripping and Rockstar should be posting our edits in a day or two. Again, I have no control of when they decide to launch the recaps. The whole tour is a learning process for all of us so as the events go on, we know what to expect and they keep getting better.
Thanks to everyone that could make it out to support the tour and to Reed's family for having us! Another successful stop goes down in the books, see you guys in Texas! |

Seeing Reed catch that kickflip a little earlier for the boardslide makes me so happy to know that darkslides might soon be going down. Ever since I seen the sequence of Drew McGuckin catch on behind the boat lip in Alliance Ive wanted to see what happen on a rail.
Overall event looked sweet, cant wait to see more footage/articles.

| is it just me that thinks nick taylors switch flip must have gone underjudged? i feel if anything could have taken reeds domination streak down it would have been that. great video tho. great riding by all. nick r is absolutely making a name for himself with this tour. great things. thanks to all involved. |

senza wake, it wasn't judged by best trick. It was judged by best line, one trick down and one trick up without falling. Nick landed the clean switch flip down but fell on a hardflip up and couldn't lock down the line.
dowel, because contest coverage isn't one of our strong points, we party too hard.

That makes more sense now. I was wondering why the Alliance video was shot so tightly on just the rider going down, and then sometimes up.
Of course, this was probably explained already but I don't always pay attention to stuff like that.
