The startup roller is huge for such a small boat. and the wake is gonna be alot of fun. now i just need to run over to the steel suply and get what i need for this. so i can try and knock it out tomorrow and saturday evening. It will bolt on through the transom and top rails and ill prolly make it out of 2" square tubing.
I am open to suggestions on how the rope is tied up top.
it should have the rope around shoulder height when riding.

i guess its gonna end up looking like the trixsta tow hoop but mine will be slightly taller maybe 6-12 inches and im gonna have braces going forward.
ill keep the pics coming, pics are better than words anyways.
btw steel is high, i havent bought any in prolly two years and wow i was kinda shocked. _________________ Ross |

25hp evinrude we havent rode behind the engine it came with but we have another 25hp evinrude we've rode behind for over a year and its pulls you up just fine, i can still easily hit the start up roller behind it. _________________ Ross |

Got started today, need to pick up hardware for it when I get off work tomorrow before I can go further.
this wedge will have nuts welded inside before it gets welded to the hoop so that the hoop is bolted through the transom and the sides/top rails.

You can drill a hole for a standard hitch ball in the top center

It did alright yesterday I swapped to our other motor before we went out yesterday because I trust it more, the lake was terribly rough, but the boat ate through the chop and knee deep roller and made for a smooth ride atleast. Had an issue of the prop being too low on the water yesterday which was killing the performance. We also learned that we need more people or a ballast up front to get the same wake as we had test driving it. It was fun, I got wrecked more times than I can count and I've got more building to do to it. Wait till you see what I do to the transom.
I'll post some pics later _________________ Ross |

That thing looks awesome man. You might get better top end if you move your tower up a little towards the center. _________________ i am the bear jew |
