Hey...I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread where you can post websites for local indy bands that you like, or are in. Support local music!

www.thelivid.com

www.westpointrock.com

Lets hear what you got! Where is the best music coming out of?

i checked out Helio Sequence... they've got an interesting sound.

It reminded me instantly of Harry Nilsson's "The point" album.

Good stuff.

Michael Manzer, does Hazel-Rah have a website??

Hey all. Jeff from Westpoint here. Just wanted to say thanks to Matt for the shout out.

For those that don't know us, we recently spent 17 months on haitus looking for a new vocalist. Now that we've got a new singer we are currently gigging around Southern Ontario.

Also, two new songs can be streamed using the flash media player on our site. NOTE: If you have a pop-up blocker, disable it when viewing www.westpointrock.com so that you can see the media player and stream the tunes.

Westpoint w/ The Livid - Friday Nov 19th @ Club 279, Toronto. Show Starts @ 8 PM.

Jeff K, Killer man...

I love the new material...im gunna try and make it out to your show on the 19th for sure.

I dont even know if you are gunna read this...but if you do it might be good for a laugh. The first time i ever heard Westpoint was in 2000 i think. And you guys played at my high school in Oakville. I think it was even before you had jon gray as a singer. You guys played a cover of the ghostbusters theme...hahahha...i never forgot that. I bought your CD. It had a picture of a squirel with really bigs nuts on it. I still have that disc...good times. One of my good friends, dave milwain, leant dan a couple symbols one time when you guys went into the recording studio. Keep up the good work.

Rock on!

wcwakeskater, i dont really feel that it is right for me to rip copies of their songs and send them to you...even tho your intentions are pure. My suggestion is to have patience and wait till you get the CD for yourself and don't spoil it. It's worth the wait. Here are some of the things they have posted online.
