Not to be Debbie downer Austin, but why Monday? I'm stoked for this but likely can't make it due to work

better water, slower day to have the shop closed, and less weekend warriors. at least those are my guesses. all of the demos that the shop has put on, have been through out the week, usually on a thursday.

I rode this board up at convergence and took a ski set with Rich and I really like it. Felt really good rode nice, weight was good and you don't really even notice the kick tail too much but it does help out. Even learned a couple new tricks on it.

does seem weird, and i can't see my foot being comfortable on the kicktail when just cruising but it's really good to see people doing something different Smash

Can you do toe side Mellon back 180's higher than the tower off the double up? Can you kick flip 2 and a half some times 3 feet high in the flats? Can you shape your own wake skate? Well Rich can.

Lets see some clips of these double ups over the tower and 3ft high kickflips. Idea

Richard, doubt Rich all you want, but many of know that he is the man. Besides having a passion for wakeskating and wanting to help the sport, he also KILLS it.

I know you're just trying to stir the pot, but I thought I'd take a quick photo of the kicktail w/ my size 9 shoe added for scale.

I think it looks interesting, maybe not better, but that's the beauty of this sport. It's a very small community, and they dictate the market. I say try one and who knows maybe it kicks ass.

first off,

i hate wood decks. every wood board that i have rode has never felt comfortable for me. i currently ride an integ, and i love the board and how it feels under my feet. last thursday i rode the newest remote board, and i wasnt a big fan. i felt like i lost all my pop, but did feel like my shuvs and 3shuvs were very solid and spun around for me very well.

today i was at THE LIQUID PLAYGROUNDS demo day with ORIGINAL WAKESKATES, and i literally fell in love with the Original board. at first i wasnt sure about it, because it is a wood deck and all. and the skate deck nose and tail had me a little skeptical but ive never felt more comfortable on a skate. the board popped very well, and felt effortless to get the snap and spins out of it. huge fan at this point, and cant wait for mine to be made.

well lets see, we had 7 first times ride Original Wakeskates, 3 kids under 10 years old, couple kids and a couple dudes.

sad to say all them left with smiles on the faces, and no broken ankles....
