I was bummed too. They only want to do high quality edited videos.
I wish they had both. I dont think a live stream would take anything away from the high quality videos |

A live feed would be nice considering an all day qualifier was made into a 1:28 video... |

BB, Remember that's just the alliance people putting those out. I expect more in depth videos cataloging the event from the submarine crew, when it's all done. |

WERDna, Yea I understand the sub will be cranking out some killer videos of the Toe Jam/Tour, they always do. Just would be nice to actually see what is going on, then cap it off with a high quality product.

It just comes down to budget and a live feed is one of the small things on a very long list that the tour couldn't afford. One of the main focuses of the tour is paying the athletes. 18th place won $100! We trimmed the excess from previous contests and gave back to the athletes. How many times have you heard people say there is no money in wakeskating? Well the tour just tossed out 10 grand to 18 riders and that's just the first stop.. of the first year!
I wish I could have the full coverage out for you guys sooner but Rockstar is hosting all the content and I have no say when it goes up. So I guess you'll just have to deal with the 1 min videos for now. That video covered less than half of the qualifying heats and there were so many other dudes killing it out there. Yesterday wrapped up the first stop of the tour and we all had a blast. Stoked for everyone who made it through and earned themselves a spot on the tour! Thnks to everyone who came out and supported. See you at Retention!
