Hi guys - I am thinking of buying the 2012 LF mod grind 42 - I ride on a cable park - Has anybody skated on this board any feedback would be appreciated - Many thanks Paulo

Paulo,

The Mod is a great cable board, especially with the grind base. I like that it has some small features on the bottom that help it track, even when ridden finless on the cable. You can abuse the hell out of it on the cable too and it will take it. That's a high speed, high impact, compression molded rocket ship. Fly to the moon!

I have ridden the mod grind and it was a really fun board (finless of course) at the cable. Though, if you like compression molded boards I would try the byerly revival if you can before you make your purchase. Tried it and absolutely will not go back to any other compression board, but of course its all preference. Good luck

its deffinitely lighter than what i prefer. Or at least the 2011 was. Also its A-symmetrical which some people like and some people dont. I'm more a fan of symmetrical boards. But other than that the concave is good and kicktails seem just right.
