I'm not sure what I'm looking at. Looks like a downhill board?

Def. looks like a longboard sitting on a rectangle piece of wood.

i have a board from them that i got last year and the rocker is so steep it was very difficult for me to do anything on, this one looks like there's no rocker.

We have a the same (ORIGINAL) that JCOFFEY has and u have to get up to about 26mph to plain off and the rocker line is MAD STEEP , With that said its a solid slab it has a little fiberglass in it but solid wood selection. The deck in the video that BB posted look's like its a skateboard noise or tail.Like he was trying to give you the feel like you were on a skateboard. Under your feet kinda thing, Like you foot will tell your brain that your on a skateboard and not a wakeskate. But that's just what I see in that design.

Rich is always trying to make it more like skateboarding on water. He even puts a skateboard on top and marks where the bolts should be on the grip tape.
Ive ridden his boards from previous years and i liked them. The rocker and concave shape make it have a very abrupt pop. I hadnt heard anything about this new shape. Seems interesting.

The last I heard about Original (when I tried to order one) was that the owner went rogue and some people weren't getting boards. That being said, that shape in the picture above is something that's been tried before and there's a reason it's not something that was ever put into production. There are a lot of simple improvements that could be made to every facet of the wakeskate, and seeing things like that, without any apparent and/or reasonable thought behind them is sort of pitiful.

good day everyone Very Happy

kickflips would maybe seem weird, maybe with the nose and tail being different, you'd miss the flick? fun to see different things just the same tho

I'm sorry, but if that picture isn't a joke then "original" certainly is one. I've got an old cassette flat I'll glue a tan tien onto if people like this shape. You're going to have inconsistent pop all day on this thing.

Scott , I'm pretty sure youve gotten under my skin numerous times on here. If we ever meet I am certainly clocking you in the face. As for my wakeskate, I am making a few this summer with a couple surfboard shapers. Even without their help I could and prolly will make a bi level just to prove you wrong. Seriously, I don't enjoy fighting at all, but I'll make an exception.

Mojo- you are seriously threatening to punch someone in the face over an opinion of a wakeskate shape? Eat a zanex or something, jeez...

haha! no my opinions tougher than yours!
i rode an Original deck at the last convergence and its was the most solid deck ive riddin. loved every second on it. im not sure if it was the same as the gnarly rocker you were talkin about a few posts earlier and it wasnt the skate deck one. now this is comin from a former bi leveler. now on hype and byerly wood. in which i had 4 go out in the first sesh or two this season, one blew out the top concave after the very first crash at wow. and one broke in half on the second sesh. had two obscura decks blow the second and third sets. must of just been a bad batch or my fat ass and horrible style. just picked up a water monster. love it. on my third set on it and it has the same solid feel. (easy "legit" wakeskate cops) i mean in the way of it feeling solid, not the ollie or rocker. i think its cool so see new things in wakeskating. try it first before you go all 4 eyed internet dork watchin the berrics so you can seem like a cool wake/skateboarder to your friends with an opinion of solid gold. same thing with music...if you dont like the song, dont listen to it. turn it to a song you like and dont talk shizzle about the one u just heard. dont just sit on the internet and talk shizzle about everything you havent seen, heard or tried before. just skate.
and nothing against kids with glasses or kids that watch the berrics.
or against kids with "negative" opinions. thats what sites like this are for i think, but i think more constructive criticism would help wakeskating alot more.

I have not had my meds yet today. However, Scott a has always pissed me off if I remember correctly. I seriously thought the pic might be a joke. And I stand by my statement if it's not a joke then it's more laughable than those boards with the tunnel fins. And I absolutely will be making a few wood and composite skates this summer(depending on my bank account) and I'll send them out to y'all. I'm just making them for the experience and what not. But yes, I have no qualms about using the perverbial clock. I actually prefer walking away or using words to diffuse situations, but it's an exception.
