Yo, does anyone remember the inflatable start pools LF was making for a year or two? I think they had a great idea/product but when they released it all those years ago there weren't many people in the winch state of mind like there are today. Does anyone know where I can find one? Or some other companys alternative. I'm surprised no one is selling these nowadays. I'd like to see distortion or rediculous or anyone get these back on the market. Any help is appreciated. _________________ Without water one cannot live.

I THOUGHT (so don't quote me on this) they never actually made them for retail due to cost or some such thing. I might have read that on wakeworld a long time ago (stop laughing). _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

Did you actually see them in a store? I think they were in a dealer product guide, but I dont remember them actually making it to the market. I could totally be wrong, though. This was a few years ago. _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground

and I thought they were ultimately only used by team dudes, but I could be wrong. I thought hyperlite had a smaller, narrower starting pool also and I don't know if that one made it to market either. the days! _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

Scott a, yeah it was a product cattalog I saw them for sale in. Do you guys not agree that if someone brought these to market that they WOULD sell a few. Do you have any idea how many more winch spots this would open up? _________________ Without water one cannot live.

Bamalurker Eh. They might sell a few right off the bat, but I think most people that are handy with tools would be much better off building their own pool. If you need a portable solution then I can see the draw to this, but I can't even imagine how much it must suck to have to deflate and transport that thing.
For what it's worth, LF wasn't using these pools for more than a couple years. I have photos of them in use in 2005, but in 2007 they had moved away from them. Maybe one or two were used for a bit longer, who knows. Interesting thing is that the pool they used in 2007 was just a larger version of their LF pool, so maybe there's a company or two out there that make these pools for sale. Might be something worth looking into? _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground

There was an issue of alliance a few years back where Ryan Doyle was using what looked like a home made inflatable pool to hit a handrail that goes down to a lake. It looked alot bigger than the LF one. It's used alot in the movie encore also. Who was that other dude that hit it with Doyle? _________________ Without water one cannot live.

You could make one for about $4/500 if not cheaper. _________________ You make me want to punch a baby!

| Steven M, I was serious! It's a great idea. I looked through some of those sites. It seems like it would work really well. If you had a convenient place to use it without getting hassled, it might be worth it. Get a few heads to go in on it... not that unreasonable. They look durable, too. |

I mainly asked cause I know where a handrail goes down into the TN river in Chattanooga. Thought it would b worth it if I could find one for a couple hundred bucks. _________________ Without water one cannot live.
