It seemed quite odd what happened to me this passed Sunday. I was at the local Cable Park Ski-Rixen, and they were temporarily shut-down due to some thunder and they will open up in 30 min if they don't here anymore or clears up. I basically sit down on a bench to wait and place one of the boards behind, three kids look at me weird. One kid started asking about wakeskating and if I was an good at wakeskating and etc. They end up sitting right across from and of course I start telling them all about the wakeskating.com site and the people on here. Lol best part was I hate lending anything out but I brought out my second wakeskate so that they can try it out. I like the fact that the sport is growing and at the cable park there are more wakeskaters coming out.

most kids there are pretty chill, some are cocky though... (the strappers)

I work at cowtown wakepark here in Texas and we've started wakeskate wednesdays. Where most of the local cable skaters and even a lot of the strappers will wakeskate. Its always a fun night and we are getting more people stoked on it.
