It sketches me out, I feel it basically gives the RIAA permission to check data integrity of your files. Just make sure you do not upload any of your downloaded music to it.

Frye, don't upload even if they are from free sources...like the bands website, or itunes?

Any music that the RIAA has defined as "illegally acquired". There are a lot of ways they can do that, so I would be really careful.
