I've never rode my mod finless... How many of you guys ride finless, and behind a boat? Tell me if I'm missing out on something here!

I haven't ridden with fins since I first started. Its got a better feel to it, though it does take a little practice to get an edge hard enough to go big on a w2w

Kaiceratops, There's no reason not to try it at least. I'd recommend you take them off and give yourself a couple of sets without them to see how you adjust. If you don't like it, put 'em back Birthday

Rode finless for the first time this morning. The board is so much more lively without the fins! No more fins for me.... Thanks for all the encouragement fellas.

My fins came out the box and immediately became a decorative item on my desk and haven't moved since.

Kaiceratops, the mod rides great finless, due to its super sharp edges

cboy905, I rode the sst finless for a bit. The 42, the 40.5(x3), and the 40.5 composite.
W2w and ski and winch
If you edge right it has no problems.

No fins, no bindings and sometimes no shoes. I did the unthinkable, I put some foam on a deck. Why, it's softer on the boat, girls are much less intimidated to try it and if a person doesn't have shoes they can still give it a try for the first time.

Sharing the stoke and getting people up the first time is a great feeling. I made a 40 something year old woman try a skate for the first time. First pull, right up and she loved it.

no fins,
no bindings,
no bulljive!
