splitphire, I got lucky on getting the camera, my grandma was going to help out with my tuition for film school but thought it'd better for me to get some gear so it's all thanks to her.

Gregeo, I just used fishing string, you can see it some of the shots.

How have you guys got your incline in the water? Have you just rammed the bottom end of the pvc into the ground? I'm keen to give that a try this summer if I can find a shallow enough spot on our river

bobroh, That thing was pretty much just sitting in the water haha. We had one post with a base and the other end we tried to jam it in the ground but it was too hard so it just sat there. We had to move it every few hits but it worked pretty good. Nothing was pounded in the ground cause we had to take it out after hitting it. really fun though.
