I don't know. I definitely don't care enough to get bent out of shape, but some snowboarders spin off of the lip also. but it's not a full 180, it's more like 90 degrees or something.

i don't think he is claiming 900, but he is for sure at 180 on the lip, thats a little much.. if people are saying its a 9

so the kid is going to have to do a 1080 for you guys to say he did a 9?(which at his age , he will probably get)
i get why you wouldnt call it a 9 , im not saying it is , but there is really no way to initiate the spin after you leave the kicker like a strapper can , so comparing the initiation point to the rotation isn't really fair

with all that aside
how many 7's have been done?

how many 7's under 15years old?

i was more impressed by that overall line
that ollie onto the flat part of that rail was almost as big as he was

I didn't want to discredit his riding. he absolutely kills it and like daniel said, his style has improved a lot. besides he really is a funny kid.
POPTART, I totally second that. there's just no way of initiating the rotation for a bs 7 without pre-spinning on the kicker.

from what I can recall, a friend of mine from Langenfeld-cable (Andy Gee) has landed hs fs 7s years ago - though badly fracturing his leg whilst doing one. think he was 16 or 17 back then.

but again: we are no fücking wakeboarders or snowboards! I'm not playing spin 2 win. I'd rather watch a 180-glide by the humpsch or a bs 180 poke by léo!

Sometimes i'm just shocked by this website and the people on it. Where is the stoke? Why is everybody hating on this. Wakeskating is what YOU make of it, daniel enjoys himself like that and who are you all to judge?

Uh-mazing. That's all there is to it. Yes I'd call it a 7 but who gives a damn. It was an amazing video. If I had a tenth of his skill, I'd be happy. I'm happy I can ollie and make the corners... haha! Kid is a phenom and will only get better. Sickness.
