electricsnow, i rode the bilevel and an integrity for the first time in the same night. thomas wanted me to compare.
telling the truth i ollied a lot easier on the integrity, but im pretty sure that's just a matter of getting used to the bilevel. as it had quite a bit more pop. _________________ you must lose your mind to come to your senses. |

RUSSIAN, I would have to look for it somewhere in the forum. It was something about Hyperlite, old technology at futuristic prices or something.
Edit: I wonder if this was before the new site, cause I can't find it. Anyone remember that whole thread with the fanta shokata commercials? _________________ They say the recipe for sprite is lemon and lime; I tried making that at home, there's more to it than that! Satori*, that's basically the perfect example that supports the idea that not every board is perfect for every rider. And maybe it would take a bit of time to get used to it, I really couldn't speak on your behalf. Some other dudes said "first I fell, then I had my highest ollie ever, and when I got to the shore I had a girl on each arm...and then a girl on each of their arms." Or something like that...I know part of that was said on here hahaha, ok, seriously though, it was the same thing with the integrity. It took people a few test rides to get used it, but a lot of people really liked it. So you know...yeah..and then I was like....but whatever....see? _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

wakeskater9610, did you read indefinite's post? No wakeskate is indestructable and an integrity can delam, just as a cassette, or any other wakeskate can (some dude's integrity did delam). _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

i believe that you cant say much of anything until u have riden a bi-lev, i have riden a bi-lev and an integ. i liked the integ a lot and would de3finately recomend it. i have also riden a bi-lev, it blew everything away and i swear that im gna get one as soon as i get the money. it brings poping wakeskating trics to a whole new level and with out a doubt in my mind will set a new trend just as the concaves and now the integs have. i dont think people will stop riding single lev decks either. i think it is all personal prefrence but u cant have a prefrence w/o knowing both sides of the spectrum |

I agree with HeadHunter. I have no right to comment on the bi-level until I have ridden one, and I really want to try one. Based on my experience growing up with the snowboard industry, however, I can say this – as the average level of wakskate riding increases, it wont matter what you ride; you are either good or you’re not! A professional should be able to ride whatever his/her sponsor gives them, and there will reach a point where dudes will be able to throw-down riding a 2 by 4. As I said on another post, “respect the fighter who shows up to a gun fight with a spoon and wins”. Right now, one can relay on one’s equipment to keep them ahead; however, as things start to slow down in this industry, it will be the riders who relay on skill who remain ahead.

johnyutah right on. i personaly dont like the hyp line of boards but george moved to them and teers em up just as he did on the kampus. same with byerly on the hyps, its amazing to see wat they are doing on boards that most of us deem as not ridable or not good. but also i beleive that a better board can help a rider progress for sure. _________________ <3 mmmm |

As I said in a similar post, Sattelyte Mr. Stubbs will be the antithesis to the bi-lev. Can you do a 720 degree shouvit on a bi-level? _________________ Life's Kredo = "When the snake falls in love with the spagetti it's time to buy a new hat." & "I guess I need to whiskey up these corn flakes..and heroin up this Orange Juice." |

at the end of next season im gonna take my integrity and a top board from a bilevel and make an integrity bilevel either that or ride a lunch tray... _________________ ride a lunch tray

bi level still has kinks to be worked out. and reed said they're shooting to have them shipping for christmas. but the cassette guys won't put them out until there are no bugs. _________________ you must lose your mind to come to your senses. |

I think the real question is: does anyone WANT to do a 720 shove on a bi-level
Seriously, I don't think board design will settle back to simple flats. yes, you can ride them and rip, but there are other avenues to pursue. Wakeskate design is like eight years old, I don't even know how anyone could really predict the future that early, especially when it took skateboarding and snowboarding something like 40 years of tinkering to settle on shapes (but snowboards are still really technical and people are still screwing around...)
And I completely disagree with the comment "a professional rider should be able to ride whatever their sponsor gives them." How many times do I have to say NOT EVERY BOARD WILL WORK FOR EVERY RIDER. Do you think a huge dude will actually plane up and feel comfortable on your mr. stubbs?
Finally, I would totally respect the fighter that came to a gunfight with a spoon, but he's dead... _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

For some reason that doesn't sound right....
And if there was anyone who could throw down on a two by four, call me. I'm having trouble getting some of my board designs to even plane up. _________________ They say the recipe for sprite is lemon and lime; I tried making that at home, there's more to it than that! ThomasN, you aren't trying to refer to any innuendos, are you? because I will FREAK OUT if someone tries to say that I had another freudian slip
FREAK OUT!!!! (please, think of jerry seinfeld when you say that to yourself)
Seriously though, I'm talking about surface area. If there are guys that still dont think the wider and shorter integrity's have enough surface area, then how is a mr. stubbs going to handle a large dude that's ready 2 rip? _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |
