man this is cool but unfortunately my education shows me that this only a good idea, is is no way a possible plan at all :/

i think that things can definitely change for a lot of people but there is no way this world will ever become much better. that might just be the neo-marxist in me but unlike marx i do not think that the world will become better if we uproot the current systems Sad

i do like the message of this though. def. has a V for Vendetta feel as the person wears that mask etc. unfortunately i am in the middle, and i am not too fond of people on the opposit wings of thought.

it's cool though if people want change, i encourage them to try i just have taken too many classes to be able to believe in something like this Crying or Very sad

i think they will try very hard to do the best they can at making a positive change

i agree, we can't uproot the system completely but if we could all stand up and do what egypt did for ourselves

it amazes me that other foreign countries utilize and make the best of technologies made by americans for american entertainment

we are so fat and dumb we cant even realize the powers we gave ourselves , and when/if we can realize their potential maybe we could influence a change for the better

----------------and on the flip side..
the stan marsh in me.....

What is this system you speak of? Is it the government? Or the ideals that most of the world has come to accept?

The way I see it, every time we buy mcdonalds, shop at walmart, buy gas at chevron, or even buy medication for some ailment, we are further empowering the "system" that most of us oppose. So unless you only shop at mom and pop style businesses to say that you are against the system is borderline hypocritical.

What it boils down to is that capitalism, a seeming brilliant idea, has been exploited by the best at the game and fueled by the growingly lazy and content people of america. The big names have dug a hole where the rich get richer and few can succeed on their own.

I shop at mom and pops, I don't buy soda, I get my eggs, fruit, and milk from mexicans down the road 50% of the time, even though its a little more expensive I'll buy my gas from the local place, and I very rarely go see movies in the theatre. Its all extremely small in the grand scheme of things but I like to do what I can.

But, i'll still get fast food, I buy my electronics from best buy etc because you can't find them anywhere else, and you can't exactly just start your own cellphone service so I shop at Verizon.

All in all this "system" is such a big part of our lives that nothing can be done, and nothing short of terrorism can even make an impact. So unless you want to go back to the stone age, where the unfit die and the rest struggle to survive, simply let it be. Just try your hardest to support the mom and pops, because that extra dollar you spend for the same goods puts food on their table

i think its more about doing the right things

im not saying i am with or against this
i have been watching the anonomyus group and i think they are an interesting bunch

they helped keep the internet up and free for the ppl in egypt to use it to free themselves

they helped the wikilinks ppl

im not sure what their idea of the system entails but this seemed to be more about self education than deciding targets

reminds me of scl punk when the kids find out that their rebellion was a form of what they were rebelling against lol

LeJalapeno, i am right there with ya

LeJalapeno,

i respect your realism, but realism does not progress humanity, and i appreciate the way you live your life and spend your money but to think the current system we fall under is forever sealed the way it is, is one of the saddest things I've heard when discussing this topic. The unmotivated masses will be the glue that makes your sealed society inference a reality.

I can assure when our time comes and our public stands up against fascism much like Egypt, Syria, Libya, and many others before them, i can assure you i'll be letting "Big Brother" know i won't tolerate his oppression either.

WERDna, 3 or 4 years ago I held nearly the same view on it as you. I have an analogy that kinda explains my situation pretty well. Let's bring it back to highschool gym, you are playing football. You can be an allstar, but if your team doesn't care and doesn't try you aren't going to win. It would get frustrating, trying your hardest to win and still getting creamed because the others don't try.

So essentially what I did is shot some hoops on the side while I waited for a team actually willing to play.

If there is ever anything that shows the potential of bringing about change, you can bet your sweet ass i'll be behind that movement quicker than a high noon shootout. But you could get 70% of the population on the doorstep of the whitehouse, and if you don't have a definitive demand, ain't shizzle gonna happen.

So until that day comes im going to take solace in my small victories. Because in essence I do more than most people that try to talk the talk of rebellion.

well thats the point of this isnt it , spread the message , get learned, find out who is a real player and who isnt

and if you could be an all star and had the team to do it , the reality is that you are just going to get a paycheck for repetitive brain damage in the name of entertainment for the masses

the masses that are entertained in delusion from the reality that they can change

If your analogy is accurate than i am still sadden by your outlook.

The "game" that will ultimately decide your fate in this country does not have a estimated time of arrival, it does not operate on a schedule it will begin whenever and wherever the other "team" very well pleases. While you sit on the side shooting hoops to yourself waiting for the miracle coalition of players that meet your all-star standards remarkably stumble upon you, the other "team" will be busy building, stabilizing, organizing, corrupting, and indoctrinating.

I can assure you when you just pussyfoot around wasting your own time. When you could be on the move spreading the word of the upcoming game and the importance of being ready/educated on the current situation then your small victories you have accomplished on your own won't be worth anything.

and from my point of view i would have taken your mediocre team you had before hand any day, because at least it was a team.

it is interesting that the your viewpoint on the situation changed 3 or 4 years ago right around the time when all economic and political corruption and misfortune escalated exponentially in the U.S. I hope that's not you getting pre-game cold feet

WERDna, I love how people always quote our founding fathers .... notice how things were different back then people actually stood up to the system aka boston tea party

Whats it going to take before our people finally stand up....

They are passing a bill to censor the internet ....
They have already passed bills so that Federal Agencies and or local Police agency's dont need warrants to go through your phone or to search your house now

these are just two of the recent bills being passed that are violating our constitutional rights

Pretty sure our system has been using scare tactics for years to keep our sheep like mentality from trying to think anything other than they are trying to protect us. and as Benjamin Franklin once said....

"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

-LoGiK-, i can't tell if you were being sarcastic with your first statement, seeing as you quoted Ben Franklin..

Boston Tea Party/Dumping of Tea - December 16, 1773

Abraham Lincoln In office - March 4, 1861 – April 15, 1865

not really the same time period, and people still stand up against the system it is just well hidden by media outlets and the government.

and i'm confident that anonymous, freelance hackers alike, and wikileaks will make sure the internet will never be censored.

WERDna, It's a difference when you quote a founding father and then have faith in the way our system is being ran now versus then. I will agree with you that the system staying the way it is now forever is nonsense, however it does not look like it will be getting better anytime soon. So what are you suggesting we do just sit here and wait for our time.

I don't understand

I believe you are misreading my posts...but it appears we share the same ideals for the most part.
