I'm on a remote skate right now,and was just wandering how i should go about filling the fin holes. Do they even need to be filled? I don't want my skate to get water logged so any advice helps. |

your board should be fine, i rode my hampson with unplugged fin holes for a while. i would cut a hole in the grip tape where the hole is though, so that you dont get bubbles in your grip. _________________ If you're not living for something you dying for nothing. |

I used to use candle wax but the Aussie sun kept melting the wax and it would run all over my grip tape. So now I fill them with silicone. |

Use a glue gun...
Fill the holes, let it cool, razor blade the excess, if you want it out, screw a small screw in, pull it out, it pops right out |

epoxy works also, definatley plug them. Boards are sealed but then the fin holes are drilled which leaves holes with bare wood exposed. |

If you don't poke holes in the grip and just fill the holes it works fine. Might depend on the type of candle too. I used to use this red scented candle and the wax always came out. Now I use an unscented translucent white just generic candle. They've been in there for quite a while now. To each their own~ |

i'm not quite sure how accurate this is, but i remember reading somewhere in an interview that Remote skates are glued together in some unique way so they would never waterlog.
like i said, i remember reading it somewhere but I can't find the article. But I have been riding a Remote all season and I haven't had any issues with water logging yet. |
