i tried one this weekend and couldnt even flip it half way, it just made me ollie retardly and lose my board. I think the key may be to have your heel hanging pretty far off the edge and kick like motherfvcker _________________ http://www.bigotebros.com/
as i have never done one i don't really know but from the vidz it looks like a late flick after you ollie.. _________________ You had me at meat tornado. -Ron Swanson
So hard! I've only landed 3 and they were all pretty darn sketchy. I'd watch a vid of Hooker or Ben doing them a couple times to try and get the motion down. Here's an attempt of mine from a while ago.
i figured out all you have to do is let the heel of your back foot hang off the board a little, it makes the board start to flip the other way so you can really get a good flick from your front foot

I heard that same concept helps with kickflips if you put your back foot to where your toes are on the edge like that.
Never tried a heel flip tho haha. I need to get on it!
Matt Hooker does a really nice one in More Than Machines that looks he really rolls his ankle inward to really help with the heel flick action part of it.
