I know people love the skate games but for done reason I find them too unrealistic. I get the idea that creating is fun and innovative but it's just not enough to keep my interest. I will however play Thrasher: Skate and Destroy until the day I die. _________________ You had me at meat tornado. -Ron Swanson
TTUFAN24, First of all, your opinion is false. Second, it makes no difference about how "good" a team is, what makes all the difference is who is pushing those two red buttons.
Third, you can't beat ME as the Cowboys, with Emmitt Smith slamming the ball down your throat, Troy Aikman tossing bombs to a coke'd up Michael Irvin running deep routes down the field at blazing speeds until he starts to come down from the massive amount of blow in his brain. Then you got Jay Novacek running short slant routes like only a massive white guy can.
Did I miss something? If I didn't, why the FVCK isn't super smash bros mentioned here? Not to mention Pokemon Stadium and Ocarina Of Time. All you need with an N64.
For gameboy it was all about Pokemon Red.
Primal Rage for SNES (though i'm pretty sure it started on an arcade machine) is boss as hell too.
Every Kirby game ever.
Sonic the Hedgehog before he went 3D. Though I haven't played the newer ones. They look fun and seem like they really captured the flow of the original sonic games well in a 3D environment.
Call me crazy, but I don't like COD.
Or Halo.
As far as new stuff goes i'm all over Skate 3. Also the PGA Tour games are really great.
texasT, The first skate was the most realistic as far as environments go, and I also felt like the controls were much more responsive. In the new ones it's all about how you play. Sure, it can be dumb and unrealistic and the map is god awful. But there are some sweet spots that can be skated rather realistically if you master the controls and use them to create a unique style. _________________ - Evan Molina
i wasnt really making a thread about like favorite games of all time, just what people are currently playing. lol
i love all of the zelda's, smash's, and kirby's. pokemon BLUE was the best..
i never had a sega until sega dreamcast so the only sonic game i really likes were the ones for DC.
i might have to try the next skate game that comes out, or try and pick up the latest one cheap. it just really bothers me when something so insane already as skateboarding gets made "ridiculous". i mean i understand that games are supposed to be about fun, but i havent had a skating game made for me in over a decade ;;
and has anyone see that game MINECRAFT? it is pretty insane. its basically a free-based rpg where you like mine and craft (hence the title) whatever you want! it also has a BADASS art style and people get super creative. there are a ton of videos on youtube. _________________ You had me at meat tornado. -Ron Swanson
I've been avoiding this thread to hide my nerdiness, but I can't anymore. Currently I'm playing through Portal 2. I finished the single-player a couple of days after it came out, now I'm about 2/3 of the way through multiplayer, it's AWESOME.
As far as other games that I play somwehat regularly;
PC: Team Fortress 2, Starcraft 2, Portal 2, Half-Life Series
360 (usually only if friends are over): Skate 3, Left 4 Dead 2, Halo multiplayer
Atari 2600: Combat, Donkey Kong, Pitfall, Missile Command, Space Invaders
NES: Ghosts & Goblins, Mario Bros 1-3, Battletoads, Bubble Bobble, Dr. Mario, Blaster Master
Wii: Mario Kart
I haven't picked anything new up in a while but my NES collection is something I really want to grow and have for a long time (I've got somewhere in the range of 30 games right now I think).
I used to have EVERY system from the Atari to most of the modern ones but sold off a lot of them since things were getting expensive and I didn't have time to play em all. (You can make some good money on SNES, N64, and Sega systems) Other than what I mentioned, I still have a dreamcast that I can't bring myself to get rid of. I also own an Atari 400 in an original box but never really play it. I'm just hanging on to that one for the cool-factor. Bitches love Atari 400's.
just played skate 3 for the first time at a friends house... wtf how have i not played this before?? it was pretty fun as sh*t and unfortunately i do not have $30. wow i'm poor _________________ You had me at meat tornado. -Ron Swanson

Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee are the two best games ever made....they're the shizzle. _________________ Just imagine skateboarding but better and on water. - - - ─╤╦︻
