I know this topic has been worn to bits, but I thought I'd bring it back with a twist.

1. Favorite Wakeskater.

2. Why? Style? Technicality? Rail/Wake/Winch/Flats prowess? What do you like about them that makes them special enough to be your favorite.

3. Favorite trick they do and why.

4. Favorite video part (online counts too), and why.

5. What one thing do you wish you could do more like this person?

1. Nick Taylor

2. Everything he does looks way too easy. His rail skills are flawless and seeing him ride behind anything is a treat. His style is just clean, he does tricks the right way.

3. Toe I/O back 3's. I've never seen anyone else do one of these well, and he gets it completely around. It's so hard to rotate like that, especially if you're making it look good, which Nick does.

4. More Than Machines. You'll see. Twisted Evil

5. I really wish I could be as comfortable as he appears on rails. I'm still fearful whenever I approach some trex, and I have a lot of difficulty committing to lipslides and locking in.

1. Grubb
2. Half foam, half grip, and he is buds with droptop. need i say more?
3. Shindy, does it get any better?
4. Any one of them, they are all the same.
5. I like wearing hats

1. Blake steele

2. Kids got super steez. Everything he does looks so camera and so consistent.

3. I/O toe back big and switch back bigs. 2 super hard tricks.

4. Blakes throwaway from Ride among us

5. I wish I could have that clean style! Maybe one day haha Smash

1. Matt Hooker.

2. His style isn't flawless. It is raw, dirty, and just plain hard to look away from.

3. His frontside boardslides and backside lipslides make me want to put a unique spin on my own.

4. I like the older ones when he was one of the first people doing heelflips. I want to be privileged enough to see More Than Machines before I get specific.

5. I wish I could be as effective with creativity as Matt. Others could MAYBE think some of the creative tricks he does at spots (wallrides, gaps to front boards, etc...), but they could never actually execute them like he does.

Randomhero14, camera?

I have no idea how you guys are able to choose a favourite. I may post again with another rider but i want to mention 1. Stu.

2. His style is super loose and he always looks to be having a great time. He just is really fun to watch ride and in turn, always makes it look like the most fun thing in the world to do.

3. I like his kickflips and back bigs a lot. They're really unique. His kickflips are just the right amount of leveled and flicked, then stomped with that loose style of his. And his back bigs just look really flowy.

4. I can't really pick a favourite. Since a lot of his parts are full of w2w tricks with only a few ski lines and winch shots, i have yet to see a part that really shows off his non-w2w skills as much as i'd like (not that i dislike watching him ride w2w at all).

5. Well. I certainly wish i were more comfortable w2w and i would kill for his bag of tricks of course. But i don't know if i'd actually want anything specific.

I certainly couldn't play favourites. I go through phases of who i enjoy to watch ride, but one that is always a treat to watch no matter the phase is...

1. Blake Steele

2. Why? (Style, Progression, Creativity)

Style - He brings his own style to the sport something you won't find anywhere else.

Progression - Well the kid can honestly hop on anything and just blow your mind, but to take into account hes a father and still somehow continues to progress at a mutant level. Every time i see him ride hes learned something new and innovative that is not only the first of its kind but the exact way it should look.

Creativity - Whenever you think of a trick in your head you approach it with the mentality What will make this rotate? or What is going to make this easy to learn?, Blake doesn't; he looks at a trick in his head and figures out the most original and creative way to do that particular trick and that is what separates him from the mainstream wakeskate populace.

3. I honestly can't pick a particular trick, but i enjoy watching his Kickflips, Back Threes, and Back Lips.

4. The first video i ever saw of him on the internet self titled "BlakeSteele". The video was around 4 or 5 minutes long and there wasn't an once of sketch in the entire thing. I thought NASA finally perfected a Humanistic Robot that just happened to pick up a wakeskate.

5. I don't want to be able to do anything like Blake because what he does is his and his alone, but i will take his perspective to heart when i sculpt my riding.

1. EJ Peterson

2. He has more fun than you, he rides cuz he loves it, not to impress anyone.

3. W2W anything. Hes so floaty and steezy. I get jealous watching him but it stokes me out to get in the water and try shizzle ive never even thought about. Also ollie norths because he pokes them out so perfectly.

4. Every video he has ever made or shot so much love goes into that shizzle just look at his blog.

5. Ride more! And have more fun! And get SOOooooo stoked to see your buddies land something new even if its a body variel. Ive landed more new tricks with EJ than I think mostly anyone else, because I just get so pumped. Positivity pwns.

lip game technician....liscenced.

his re-entry 3 shuvs off the double up take precision and patience and are a thing of beauty when executed properly Arrow butter effect.

sfumato....see above. jaw dropping.

1. Kyle Hyams
2. He has great style, he is super clean and has tons of pop!
3. His back big is the best in wakeskating! POP!
4. His part in Esoteric as awesome! His part in Washed Up was great too...I just wish it was longer. Also his throw away footage that was just on AWS.
5. He is just an all around good dude in life! I've been friends with him a long time and I've never heard him talk crap about other people and lives the treat others the way he'd want to be treated. On the water I wish I could pop my kickflip the way he pops his!

RISE-WITH-THE-FALLEN, I think you're having a bit of trouble understanding the system here

On that note, 1. Ben Horan

2. His style is remarkably skateboard-like and he seems to have his own way of doing everything. He gets creative, and definitely is having fun.

3. His kickflips are insanely flicked and his heelflips are some of the best.

4. I have yet to see MTM but I have a feeling it will pay ben some damn good justice. I think there are like 2 videos of him on wesubsist (i could definitely be wrong. I'd check but I'm using my phone). So one of those for now, definitely.

5. I would trade at least twelve trained bicen for his kickflips.

1. Thomas horrell and jason messer (sorry, that's two)

2. their creativity and inventiveness.

3. invent

4. Thomas--all of them. how do you pick a favorite when, chronologically, each one is a step forward in the progression of wakeskating (and not just his riding). jason-FWT promo.

5. Bring more to the table, or just consistently bring it, regardless of the medium.

This is really hard (Yes, thats what she said)

Anyway..... I have favorites in every different catagory...I will explain that first.

Boat - Stu Shinn (Makes everything W2W look effortless....so fun to watch)

Winch - Ben Horan (Heelflip, Backside Flip down that massive gap.....enough said)

Rails - Nick Taylor ( Two words - BLUNT SLIDES!! Everything he does on rails is so technical and flawless)

Favorite Up and coming pro - Colin Gee (Frontside 3 shuvs....love them. Gee's style is off the charts as well)

Honorable Mention - Andrew Fortenberry (Everything he throws is so big and nasty, waist high kickflips all day)

NOW ON TO MY FAVORTIE PRO

ANDREW PASTURA

Why? First of all, because he's a Midwest kid!!! But more important he has so much all around style, I enjoy watching him because he attacks every trick he throws, takes everything huge and stomps his tricks so clean and with poise. I could watch him throw lines in the flats all day too.

Favorite trick - 3 flips ............especially down gaps.........owns it.

Favorite Video Part ......... Aquafrolics (That was easy)

What trick do I want to do - I have to go back to NVT for this one......I want to blunt slide a flat bar before the day I die...........it's one of my life goals Smash

1. A. Reed

2. His style, he always looks like he his having fun riding.

3. Wake to wake poke, crazy!

4. The slow motion trailer for the liquid force. All he did was poke the board, but damn he made it look so good.

5. I wish i could just get as comfortable going wake to wake. I don't know why but it scares the crap out of me.
