cool, but i don't see the '360'. looks like an off axis front flip of some sort. the one he does into the pit at :37 is close but the one over the dirt is just a crooked front flip.

there is a full 360 in the movement, think about how he lead it with his body

SICK YES...

360 NO..... watch the shot from the rear. All he does is a front flip. The bike Gyrates and thats what causes it to look wierd. If you ride moto you will know what the gyro i'm talkingabout is.....

i would call it a gnarly tweaked frontflip. but since the freestyle motocross world excepts a horizontal flip as a 360 i could understand their reasoning.

Watch his version.. then look at the bmx one..

He turns about 90 degrees... flips.. and comes back...

"think about how he lead it with his body", he does start to initiate the twist but doesn't rotate very far. notice how he begins the rotation its to the left yet as he is completing the flip he has to pull the bike to the right to straighten out. if it was a completely 360 he should be finishing the rotation by rotating to his left like in the video Steven M posted. better example than the gymnasctics video i was going to post Laughing

try it at home, jump and do a 360, you land rotating in the same direction you took off.

keep your eyes on his chest in the flip he does over the dirt, it is always flipping forward, there is a little turn but for the most part it is always forward. if the 360 was there then when he has rotated 180 degrees (which would approx. be when he is upside down) he should have his back to the kicker and be facing the landing, that never happens in the air, if that makes any sense. when he is upside down and for the remainder of the flip it looks as though he is completing a crooked front flip...

if it was a 360 backflip there would be ummm lemme do my math
360+360=720. 720 degrees of spinning. its obvious theres a tweaked 360 degrees of front flip there

The first one on a small bike was a 360 flip but on the big bike it was just tweaked.

I haven't done much research but from the looks of it they never said it was a 360 front flip. I understand that the video title is "Mark Monea lands first ever 360 Frontflip!" but that wouldn't be the first time XGames makes a mistake. I am going to go by the people that are in the video. They classified it as a "carry-on" which makes this whole discussion on whether they should count it or not as 360 font flip unnecessary, take it as what they are calling it a "carry-on" nothing more, nothing less.
