i've been eyeballin' this beauty for a while now and it looks like ive finally got a plan into action.
i'll take more pics soon when i can get down there in the daylight.
going to have my friend pull me from a Honda Ruckus. i am SUPER excited because this bayou literally goes for miles and the water is fresh!
future plans include a box and maybe some rails (but i'm not ready for either of those lol)
any ideas or concerns(haha). i'm mainly just wanting to work on ollies and shuvs when i cant make it to the river.
oh, and thank poseidon for the new cable park being built in houston ^^ |

what's hwc? lol
i'm new to the scene so don't hurt me!
my parents live on the northwest side of houston and i live in the loop but more northwest.
and i would love to ride. i really have only ever ridden behind a boat but im trying to find something i can do when we cant go out on the boat. our boats in bay city and we ride the colorado mostly. its just easiest. plus knowing someone other than my brother who has skated would be fun, he's a doucher. lol
anyway we should get on riding because the seasons upon us! haha |

| hwc Houston Watersports Complex its on the south side right outside beltway 8 and 288. They just put up a 2.0 and ERC (two tower cable systems) side by side. they also have a private boat lake it's a dealership you can get a pull if you want never done it though. they have a kicker and a fun box right now i'll go if i cant find a pull anywhere. |

| oh downtown is only like 20mins from the spot! i go to UH so i travel to downtown every day... this weekend were going to try and get a rope to test it out. unfortunately all my boat shizzle is with our actual boat so im gonna have to go cheap lol. the warm weather is such a tease so i need this skate spot to work out until i can get on some real water. but ya were definitely gonna have to get together. do either of you guys have a winch? |

and here's the spot in the daylight.
i had to get in...
basically i'm 5'10 or 5'11 and it came up to my knee. water travels pretty nicely on its own so i dunno what that will do. if i can't skate it, maybe we could tube down it
also the photos dont really do it justice. the concrete banks are pretty wide and i would say the water itself has to be at least 8ft across. |

No I don't have a winch but if we find one in Houston I have some spots scoped out these a sick gap close to my parents house. Once I get my boat running we can take her out hopefully next month. Let me know how this weekend goes I'll be in Dallas otherwise I would join the fun |

Hey guys I live up by Lake Conroe, and am in the process of building my own winch. Check it out in the Winch section. Theres tons of lil private lakes/ponds up here along with some sketchy spots in the San Jac up here I plan on riding once its built. Also more spots in the woodlands area including fountains and such. _________________ You make me want to punch a baby!
