This year we are planning on setting aside some time before normal open hours for us wakeskaters. Things are still in the works but we will probly be opening the cable from 8am to 12 for wakeskate only sessions on wednesdays starting in the beginning of this summer. Im just trying to get an idea of how many people would actually be interested in this and If you all have any ideas in mind for these bindingless events.

I moved you to general wake because i think you'll get more views. I don't live in fl but I think a wakeskate specific time on the cable is a good idea!

I would be there every weds.

I never have anyone to ride with.....no cable parks open till 11 or 12 and I have to open the shop at 12 everyday

this would be the most epic thing to happen to me ever please do it kyle!!

It's about time someone does this for the wakeskating community. What a great idea. I was wondering, is wakeskating big enough yet for a 100% wakeskate only cable? I love riding cable but being at a crowded cable is the worst thing ever, unless everyone there is wakeskating.. because wakeskaters are trying stuff that they might actually fall on. (Unless you ride at Wakenation and get stuck behind that old Chinese guy who just bounces up and down) Laughing

Great to hear you guys are looking forward to this. I enjoy everyone that comes to the park but I think it will be nice to have the park to ourselves without the cable feeling like a rubber band. Wakeskate only cable would be glorious, possibly once we get our second cable in we can devote one cable for wakeskating on select days.

I love your ideas nick but I despise your choice of chocolate.

It would be so nice to ride where there would be no chance to get behind THAT kid who shakes the cable around every turn with 50 air tricks in one lap while never falling and never trying anything new...

new wakeskate wednesday ride idea

- Convince nick taylor that he without a doubt hates peanut butter but loves molasses. If you complete this task you will be rewarded with jet ski pick ups for the entire session. (to prove that you have succeeded in your quest nick must devour an entire jar of molasses in one sitting and then ask for seconds)

sounds like a good time, i like nick's idea of advocating people to bring first timers to the cable its a relaxing atmosphere and it is really easy to teach people from the dock on cable, and with so many people there on Wednesday its likely you will have someone who is knowledgeable enough to help others progress in different aspects of their riding.

Hopefully ill be able to participate in one during this upcoming summer.
