as schmaltz said, he wants to make product the team and himself like. however, if they made the same exact boards with a more "regular" kick tail i'd be all over them. i've had 2 integ's and love the feel more than anything else i've been on, but just don't care for the pre-kicks/kick tail shape. i remember riding my simplex and then my legacy and thinking this thing feels hollow and bulky.

Schmaltz,  you should do custom graphics for all the ws.com divas. You could probably charge $1000 per skate and people would throw money at you from every direction. I would like zombies, blood splatters and a picture of Murderdolls singer Wednesday 13 after a sleepless four day binge on my signature model. |

I'm jumping in the conversation late here but I have a different opinion than most...
I actually like the overall graphic presentation. The colors and such what frustrates me is why everything always has to be inappropriate or gimmicky. What happened to just good clean art. I know everyone's gonna call me a whimp here or say I'm whimp-whipped but I don't care...
I'm a happily married guy who camps weekly in the summer with my wife and other married couples. Both me and my wife like to wakeskate. Their is no way were gonna buy this board. I don't understand why every board out there for the skate community has to have some cartoon gimmick on it, a bong, or some sexy woman/sex reference.. I really want a mutiny or integrity but I'm hoping all there boards aren't like this.
When I say gimmicky I'm talking the whole oak line maybe it was remote? Where they stole the whole cereal box idea...I just think that's lame. The best art I've seen on boards is Goodwood...but I do want the build and construction of mutiny/integrity. I need a board bad to...I'm riding on a cracked Oak Moondog right now...

geissap, You would like the Integrity line. Mutiny is an edgier, more raw, punk rock inspired brand. Integrity's graphics are much cleaner.

I actually lol'd at this opinion. I'm the customer but you actually want me to buy the Lamborghini of wakeskates ($400!) so that I can then go spend more money and my own time to paint away the edginess of the graphic? Interesting...
IMO Good art on a product appeals to the masses not just some 23 year old bachelor who likes to masterbate to hot chicks all day in his single bedroom apartment.
Also I completely disagree with your assumption that only kids buy things for good art. That's just so wrong...when I spend 400 dollars on a wakeskate I expect and want it to look good. Were a nation of aesthetics...so I don't get your logic here at all. Kids aren't the only ones who care about looks, and that's apparent by the 5 pages of posts on this particular graphic. |

so.........geissap your on your own with this, just get an integ if you want a solid board with generically neutral graphics
or look for a Jenny danger integ

How old are you and are you single outta curiosity? You're completely missing the point from every angle imagineable. My wife doesn't dictate to me what I can and can't ride. I personally have no interest in riding on a board with this graphic outta respect. On top of that we share the board...
Honestly the graphic in general just doesn't appeal to me. I like raw contrasting abstract style artwork. Not a bunch of cut up colorful geometric shapes jammed together with pictures and text on them. Like I said, artwork that can fit both sexes and appeals to multiple people. |
