i put my foot half way off, in the middle of the board and ollie, drag it up a little. and kick down hard and out a little. it usually flips but hits the water before i catch it so i fall. so i cant land them, but i havent tried on a concave.
sounds like you should focus on making sure you kick the board or make sure you pop it out enough to flip. im not sure foot placement makes a whole lot of difference as long as you can still manage to kick the edge.

Im doing it inth flats by the way. Also i was wondering is a kickflip even possible on my board??? LF 42 Wud flat deck.

Yes, you can definitely kickflip on your board.

Since you are just learning them, concentrate on getting your feet out of the way as soon as possible. Mainly your back foot. You really don't have to pop it high as long as the nose stays up. You will be able to get more height once you get a better feel for popping and flicking it.

Just curious, have you tried it inside out yet? That may help you get a little extra height to complete the flip.

Even the Wright Skates.

Alexxx, in my opinion, inside out is harder. Just letting you know.

I got it around today; but I land with stiff legs and my feet together on the board. I think I just need to pop it higher. Help?
