Carolina skiff

I have a 14 ft carolina skiff with a 15 hp. I can get up behind it but the person driving has to run up to the front to get the bow down. Is there anyway I can make it so you don't have to run up front?

you need some weight in the front. We use a 40 lbs car battery in the front of the lemonscraft. Try that and if its too heavy, try some weights from a workout bench.

The best part is the end of the "tour" though: iI catch a huge roller with the front, and instead of accelerating a lil' bit, I just release the throttle... At that precise moment, I know I'm a complete ass...

If you use to much weight it might slow the boat down to much to get to the right speed. If its a tiller make an extension so you can sit more forward. If it has a wheel try and move the whole thing forward. Try adding weight first but it might not solve the problem.
