|
|
I have an opportunity to buy an older 1st generation grinch winch and was wondering if anybody has tried it. It's a 6.5hp wich is only .5hp less than the new model but the torque converter and gearing might be different. I'm not sure.
this is what it looks like.

Me and most of my friends are around 200lbs so i want to know if this thing can yank us out of the water or not.
anybody ever use this thing? |

Ha! I'm alright with it being heavy. I'll keep it attached to the receiver hitch or have to put wheels on it.
So you've used this one and it can pull bigger guys? Deep water start? |

WELL.........my mods have pretty much become mod parts and she is just as she is when i bought her.........minus the brake i broke
i has a handle bar extension on the brake which was nice and i had a handle bar finger throttle....which was nice and broke as well
you definetly need a good anchor system......which i usually fail at as well
......i'd say ride her as is _________________ dbanana wrote:
