i love school! once you get older, and your parents dont take care of you, and you realize you aint gonna be shizzle wit a HS diploma, you start to enjoy school

plenty of people form public schools w/o the infamous silver spoon go to ivy league schools or "real" college. and nothing wrong with community college. it's usually cheaper and you can get your first 64 hours out of the way before transferring to a university. obama would probably hook you up with money for nothing.

there is absolutely nothing wrong with community college. I know wisconsin and florida have a deal where if you earn your associate's degree at a 2 year university and earn a specified minimum gpa, you are guaranteed a transfer to a state university (but you may not get into the major you want--gpa dependent or what have you).

Im about to graduate Aug. 10, i couldn't be more excited. I wish i had some1 to fund graduate school for me. Hopefully ill be able to go back to school after saving a bunch, ive heard its mad hard. This reminds me i gotta register for the GRE asap.

My high school grades were not good enough to get me into a university. So I went to a community college instead, where I was able to keep a good enough GPA to transfer to said university after one year. Got the degree, got the career, and now I get to skate behind my nautique. So I have to say that the public school system worked out quite well for me.

Sure, the economy is in the toilet, and having a degree does not guarantee that you will get a job. But it sure doesn't hurt. Hang in there.

-=AlexXx=-, i say go str8 into grad school.. its hard to get back into it after a break. i took 2 weeks off from UCF to Grad school. Also, the whole $ issue. what ever school you go 2 there will be loans that all the students will apply for and get. Ish aint cheap, but its worth it. Ill be livin back down their again to open up a practice. Smash
