I was gonna drop 250-300 and get a nice Oak or Sattelyte for my first board, but I just stumbled across this. The description describes me perfectly. I come from a skateboard and snowboard background, and it seems like a fantastic deal. Look as though grip isn't included? Will this board allow me to get any pop at all? Or is it just for flat tricks?
Not to excited about having to put my own grip tape on though...are these gator boards decent or should i just invest the extra 150 and get a new oak or sattelyte?

I think it's the cheapest concaves I've found...I think I may give the composite a try for my first board. Sounds like it's easier to ride....what you guys think?
I haven't rode either of those boards but just looking at the doyle i think it would be a wierd board. If it was me id go with the drew. I did have a gator reaper and it was a pretty sweet board. _________________ vesselwake.com

Yea at 129 not sure I can go wrong with this for my first board. I really like the oaks but there double in price. Not sure if that's worth it for my first board.
geissap, expensive first board is not worth it... i rode my flat deck to hell before i finally invested in a nicer board.. just buy one and show it whos boss. _________________ NORML.org
