I know this should probably go under the cable section, but i didn't know if anyone would look at it. So...
What's the deal with the rail spectacular. I'm considering entering the open wakeskating comp. but am not really sure what kind of skill level i'll be up against. I know competitions can vary from day to day but i'm just looking for general stuff. Also, does anyone know if tricks only count on rails. (for example, a 360 shuv on flat water wont count because it wasnt on a rail) i wasnt sure from what they have on the odub site. Any information like that would be appreciated. Estimated times would be great also. Also, is anyone else going? |

| Tricks only count on rails, anything on flat water will not be counted. Definently come to the intermediate division we need more people in it. The whole comp will begin at 1:00 on saturday. |

| I'm interested for sure. I'll be in town because some friends and i are headed to Universal for that halloween dealie. I dont hit rails much but i figure i may as well go out and give it a shot. Is there any reason you would need to stick around afterwards? I'm just trying to fit this into my schedule, i dont have to be anywhere till about 6ish so i'm assuming it'll be no problem. |

Slyder,
one of my good friends won intermediate.. well at least i think he did. his names David Maus.. So i would guess shuvits onto the picnic, shuvits off it, and 180s off the kickers.
Also at hhn, make sure you check out the bill and ted excellent advernture show. have you seen it before? for hhn they do a special show where they make fun of stuff thats been going on in the world.. bush, kerry, paris hilton, etc etc. its soooo god damn funny. |

vance, nice, i'll check that bill and ted thing out for sure.
Yeah, i'm not that great at kickers and stuff, just cant get the landing for some reason. (like, i can do straight airs off of them usually, but nothing fancy) I can do fs and bs 3's/5's (and variations like fs shifty bs 3 out) on the picnic and shuvs off. Again, i dont have any rails so i'm not that experienced with em. |

Well... when the picnic table was on the right side i could do 3-shuvs up the transition, and shuvs up and out and such but since its on the left now we can only do shuvs up prolly and 270's to back slip bs 180's out. _________________ seLf-[img] |

| Now the table is toe side for me, so I hit it switch. If you are regular you will have a better advantage, for podium you will probally need some shuvs up the transion combos and such. I mite try switch big spin if my run is looking good. |

I'm sorry, SUPER allriight! The alright thing was from seinfeld, so it's kind of jokey and is the second highest form of "alright" one can recieve. Seriously though, I actually have a lot of respect for kyle, based on how he handles himself on here and his riding...he seems like a talented and humble dude...hmm, you might even say he's "shradical"... _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |
