Well i searched and didnt find much.. so here it goes..
I just ordered a Helium SWAT Paisley vest! I used to just have a HO sports generic vest that was surprisingly comfy...
Whats your guess favorite vest/vests? CGA or Non.. If non how well does it float? If CGA, is it comfy? Idk how many of you actually wear them but i was just wondering! |

I always wore whatever we had...I never had an option of not wearing a vest. I used to ride with one of those solid foam jobbies (which was actually pretty good), then a stearns, and now some shiznackle HO vest that I hate because the foam shifts...among other personal reasons. I guess one difference is because of my climate, I'm always wearing neoprene or something on my upper body, so I don't get too irritated by vests. I think that's one of many reasons people use to not wear vests...whatever.
oh, and cga...always cga. I know wakeskating isn't wakeboarding, but when you've come through an era of losing one of the most charismatic wakeboarders (cordell kraut), vest excuses seem like bulljive, and you hope that nothing like that ever happens to the riders you care about. but I am completely sassy and I won't hold anyone's hand on the vest issue. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

| Yeah i always wear a CGA vest! Always! After breaking 3 bones in my face and almost loosing my eye wakeboarding, i realized theres no reason not to wear a CGA... If the board had hit about an inch higher i would have lost my eye, and an inch above that i would have been completely knocked out! I also blacked out when i did it so i have no clue if the vest saved me or not... but i think it helped for sure! |

I've had my same gooru since 07 and i will not buy another until it does fall apart. It seems far from that as of now.

my non-cga oneill boost has pretty much thrown in the towel. she has got me through 3 years of heavy riding and is oh so comfortable......if anyone knows where i can pick up a large one lemme know. i found one down under but i'm looking for a new vest as well.
it floats me just enough and gives me armor against the elements......sickest vest i've met. _________________ dbanana wrote:

I've had an old Hyperlite crash vest since I started riding about 10 years ago. It's still in decent shape. I also have a Jet Pilot neo CGA side entry that rubs me raw, and I don't like the way it fits either. Then my brother has a Nevin/Helium swat neo cga that I have always liked, except that it's purple, but whatever. It fits great.
I just ordered a 4 new Helium vests. One CGA vest for me, so I can ride at the cable park in Ohio (cga required), one non-cga for my home lake, 1 for my daughter and one in case she has a friend out at the lake.
Seems like a ton of people are jumping on these deals.... can't beat them: http://www.stearnsflotation.com/Mens-Wake-Vests-C34.aspx |

| Quick Q... I ordered a helium vest from Stearns the other day and got a size small(32-35)... I measured and got 31-31... Im 15 and weigh 135-140lbs.. does that sound pretty acurate? i tried on a couple of our own old neo vests and i cant tell if the sizing is off or what.. The mediums we have are tight, but the large is way loose... im lost |

I have the plaid Helium Devision, which is non CGA. It floats the best out of all the Non CGA vests so I'm told. Floats me just fine. _________________ If you don't like my fire then don't come around. Cuz I'm gonna burn one down.
