A couple years ago, when i was studying about bamboo for my graduation in Industrial Design, i made this concave for me..

I've never shared it with no one.. but that's my favorite board to ride..
(i'm posting this inspired on the favorite board thread..)

Specs: 40,5 inch long, 39 cm wide, 29 cm nose/tail.

Hope you like it.. Very Happy

man that shape makes me feel at home, same shape i always ride. but .5 inches shorter Smile

how is the bamboo holding up? i love the look of the board and it looks like you did everything extremely professional! How much would a board like that cost me if i were interested in one? I bet shipping would kick my ass Embarassed

Great job on it dude, it looks GREAT. Id love to ride it too!

-=AlexXx=-, zip, and guys.. thanks for the interest, but i realy can not make more of this for now... this bamboo plys was bought at a bamboo flooring store, here in São Paulo, and they don't import these plys any more... they are made in china (i'm not proud of that..)

And i will confess that a full bamboo core wakeskate, is not the best solution for a board,
G.K.D., answering your question, i weights around 8,8 lbs (4kg) but the flotation isn't realy good.. the bamboo ply is a realy dense material and the board sinks under your foot while deepwater start, for exemple...

But the pop is great! bamboo is a realy responsive material, Integrity is doing it great with the centra-fuse..!

By the way i'm working on a composite board with same/close shape sizes and weight.. and now for seling! i'll post something about it soon..

Thanks!

dudufigueiredo, what did you use to seal the deck and what did you use to glue the ply's together? Your board looks amazing. if you're worried about flotation, you could do birch or oak for the top few ply's then a bottom ply of bamboo that way you still have the bamboo look on the bottom. I know you said you cant get bamboo anymore but maybe you have a ply left hanging around, just an idea
