hey my brotholomews,

getting all your ducks in a row for a set is a sensation in itself. i guess this means when you lock in your buddy, whip, time, and launch site. after you put down the tele and the wave of excitement flushes your soul. what are the first steps you take to make moves from land to the water?

i always check the fuel and oil levels, break out the backpack blower to clean up all of the leaves, throw all of the gear in the boat, head to the gas station for fuel, beer, and ice, and then take the magical 5 minute ride to the boat ramp!

call my friend to make sure were still going. get all my stuff in my car and hook the ski up to the car, grab some gas and something to drink, then drive over to the ramp and hope its nice and theres not to many idiots on the water.

Depending on what I'm riding that day, I throw on different tunes.

Short Cable Set = something loud
Long Cable Set = something to get stuck in my head all day (usually also loud)
End of the Day Beach Winching = something relaxing/mellow.

get suited up with friends and family at my sides, visualizing what i will acomplish on the water and away i go...then after, food and celebratory drinks are in order

watch a vid, eat, definitely be sober. put on my shoes, vest and grab my beautiful mutiny wakeskate, and run down to the dock very excited like

Wake up, check lake, launch boat, start coffee, find driver, inject driver with coffee, hit start-up roller

watch a video, throw my gear in my trunk, drive to the water (about an hour), snack attack, and jam out to music the whole car ride. if i get there before my buddies i watch a section or two on my ipod.

u guys r crackin me..........baytown throw on the backpack blower to get the leaves out takes the cake i'm a tryin that soon i like the powertrip that gives ya. miller injecting his driver with coffee thats all it takes for a morning set. zip, cleaning the chalkboard is respectfully the purest ceremony ......i really dig it. mitch i can see ya, an hour long drive blastin beats and gobblin treats on cloud 9..........so free so fresh. so many different ceremonies to prep for the same groove...........

i start off by removing my ring, once i know a sets locked in....this makes it seems real. then involuntary tremors kick in, as the excitement overwhelms me..........i straighten the house like a hurricaine. next i turn to food.....i am so focused right now cause i don't wanna forget anything, yet i am moving so fast that i literally stumble and kook out somehow......like i dropped a whole container of Oj on the floor last week. i grab my board, shoes vest and rope.....nows when i get carried away grabbing......towel, top, hoodie, hat, shades, hammock croquet set turn out the dog lock the cat in the laundry room double checkum......putting down the garage door closes one world and opens another..all the cares and concerns getting smaller by the second ...... a new day has dawned so vast and so free.....yeeha
